I pretty much only play TDM unless I play with you guys because Domination fucks my K/D ratio. Some of the hardcore game modes are fun because it removes HUD, etc.

I used to be obsessed with DOM... I think I played like 50 in a row or something. Lately, CTF is my new fave.
Lee, you just need to learn the strategy for the other game types and set up a class accordingly. I have a diff class for DOM and CTF, even though they're objective based.

For TDM, I'm almost exclusively Ghost Pro, Warlord Pro and Last Stand Pro with a silenced red dot Galil. I'll switch it up to Hardline Pro for maps like Nuketown

That shit's kinda useless for objective, since people gather around certain areas of the map.
It's all about the bullshit, mang.
Wardlord Pro so you get more 'nades.
Claymore (DOM) or Tactical Insert (CTF) so you can booby trap / ambush.
I even use grip and extended mag on the AK74U so I can spray and pray into crowds. Aiming is for bitches. :lol:

I think for certain game types it should take into account your K/D. I don't think my level 35 with a k/d of 1.0 is really competitive with the kid who is a 35 and a 3.5 K/D.

That's what Bungie was really good at, matchmaking. That, along with the fact that you lost experience after a certain point in the older Halos, meaning kids who played 24/7 didn't necessarily get promoted up.

I don't think there's any "matchmaking" to speak of. I've been matched up all over the spectrum and the teams seem random as best as I can tell (no leveling). It basically just sticks you in open games of the type you're looking for.
I probably bail on 50% of the lobbies I'm stuck in, once I see how the teams are structured. :roll:

but what about me? my KD is around 1.0... but i'm a lvl 2 or 3 prestige. some games i have a 6:1 KD, other games i'm negative... way negative. some maps i'm am awesome on, some maps i suck. and i like playing against people that suck, it makes me feel better

That's exactly how I am (0.93, I think). I usually end up in games where I'm one of two prestige and the other team has at least four 4-8 level prestige. I'm guessing they're partied, so I get all the noobs. I usually end up bailing on a bunch of games because I was a match up that's at least somewhat normalized. If it's uneven in the other direction? Bonus.

I played COD on Playstation for the first time two days ago. Holy hell that game is full of complete newbs on that console. I was adjusting to that weird ass control scheme and controller and I was still going like 26 - 6 with a 3 bar connection.
