I really don't think it's my grounding. I regrounded it and nothing happened.... but while i was messing with wires, i blew a fuse. whatev. i don't think i can get it done in one night. Maybe we'll attack it another time. I think i need to rewire EVERYTHING.

Since you explained the problem to me last night. (Problem is that the hex bolt is recessed and close to the windshield) I'd say use the angle swivelling socket wrench.
