CaptainHenreh Wrote:So I have some sort of updates.

Update #1: Of course these front springs are "3.5". Or maybe four. The big ones are 5, maybe 5 and a half? I don't remember.

How big you planning on going?

Re: Project ReXJ - CaptainHenreh - 07-08-2011

Picked up my Rear axle today, and my cruise control works.

I want to try and clear 33's with a trim and tuck, while still having some 'decent' flex.

Re: Project ReXJ - V1GiLaNtE - 07-08-2011

^ Nice. Looking forward to more updates.

Re: Project ReXJ - Jewels - 07-09-2011

We gotta pick up the last of the first round of stuff today. I'll see that you get your pictures. Hopefully we'll have everything soon to put everything on all at once. OUR jeep as I so often remind my dear husband, is coming along nicely.

That's what they always say...until it breaks.

Well... I do put in my fair share of turning wrenches so I wouldn't go as far to say that, but you aren't completely wrong.

Re: Project ReXJ - NTIman - 07-20-2011

Rex and Julie delivered the Jeep to me yesterday evening (while I was napping, ***holes...)

Over the next week to week and a half I will be doing the following, among other things:
-PCV valve
-plugs
-plug wires
-distributer cap and wires
-possible valve cover gasket
-cleaning engine bay
-locating and repairing all power steering leaks
-oil change
-serpentine belt
-removing the trailer hitch so it can be sand blasted
-etc...

The wiring which looked like Colonel Sander's tried to cook is actually fine. Only the outer protective material was fried, and when you peel it back, you find that the wiring and insulation hasn't the slightest issue. So at least that is good.

Re: Project ReXJ - .RJ - 07-20-2011

What about the V8?

Re: Project ReXJ - NTIman - 07-20-2011

Rex hasn't brought it to me yet.

Re: Project ReXJ - CaptainHenreh - 07-20-2011
