i hate that about my mom's z3 as well (1999 2.8l)

is this a trait of most roadsters? mike, do you have a tilt wheel in your s2k?

thats another thing they improved on the NB. The Nardi steering wheel is smaller which makes that issue much better (but i agree, i wish it had tilt)
Taking some foam out of the seat to lower seating position also helps.

The Z3 and XFire that I've driven both lack tilt wheels... I've done fine without them. I don't know how I can fold myself into something that small, but once I'm in the driver's seat I'm comfortable.
