Anyone down for a good ride before the BBQ? We could meet in Harrisonburg and do some sort of Rt 33, 220, 250 loop and then somehow end up at the Chapins...

Trust me, the roads ARE worth it!

- Kaan - 07-19-2006

as long as the bike is running... i'll ride all day... drink beers... pass out... hydrate for half the next day... and go home Wink

- WRXtranceformed - 07-19-2006

damnit i'm either going to be at the beach or working =/

- BLINGMW - 07-20-2006

so really, what time are you guys thinking about getting started? We've got a company picnic here at my WORK mid-day that I'd like to know if I can hit up at all.

- bassmangrammy - 07-23-2006

Cool... I'll be there.

- ViPER1313 - 07-23-2006

Come on - ALL MM people should make a serious effort to come to this - past 2 years have been a blast :!:

- JohnC - 07-25-2006

Alright, since this is my damn party, I think that I get the final say in who shows up. And I say that everyone is invited, and should make an effort to get here. We've had a great mix of old/new folks over the last couple of years, and theres no reason for that to change at all.

No more bitching or arguing about it - the only conversation that should be occuring in here should be about how awesome it will be, and how much beer people should bring.

- BLINGMW - 07-25-2006

....and what time it should start.

- Maengelito - 07-25-2006

this will be awesome. i will bring so much beer.

- JohnC - 07-25-2006

In the past, we've gotten things going in the early afternoon. How about 2pm. If you show up much earlier than that, you'll be put to work helping with the preparations Smile

Correction, you'll be helping Jess with the preparations since John and a few of us will be out riding. Big Grin

Don't see the problem ;-)

- Mike - 07-26-2006

there is no problem! she just told me she'll be away... RIDE OR DIE

- Feersty - 07-26-2006

Hey Chapin, still got a XR to drunk wrench on? Oh yeah, and no running into footpegs!

- Ryan T - 07-31-2006

Maggie and I will be there for the good times.

- JohnC - 07-31-2006

Damn, we're < 2 weeks away from the throw-down... So, its time to start thinking about what to bring.

Jess and I will be providing the basics:
Burgers (meat and veggie)
Hot Dogs
Potato Salad
Coleslaw
Chips & dip (I'll probably make some of my patented "several-layer bean dip".
Beer (at least a few cases to get things started)
Plates and utensils

The rest of you should think about bringing more beer, some dessert items, and anything else you want to throw on the grill or stove.

As for activities, we've got a big-ass yard, two awesome dogs, TV, stereo, PS2, riding lawn mower, and ire of the entire neighborhood Smile I've been saving some races on the Tivo, and of course I will kick all of your asses at Tourist Trophy (just ask Matt).

Anyone who wants to show up early (like Friday night) with a bike is welcome to come on a group ride Saturday morning. It won't be too long - maybe 100 miles of beautiful Fluvanna, Buckingham, and Albemarle county scenery.

And last but not least, anyone who wants (or needs) to stay the night Saturday is welcome to - let us know beforehand if you're planning to do this so we can make sure to have some breakfast stuff ready.

- Sijray21 - 07-31-2006

if i'm not too hungover from the night before i'm definitely riding down

what time is this shindig starting?

- .RJ - 07-31-2006

I'm riding down friday, and staying saturday night as well.

- Dragon - 07-31-2006

I'll be riding down Fri night. We can go up to the store once I'm there and pick up some more stuff on me since I can't bring too much on the bike.
