All of us are prone to doing stupid shit. The thing that gets me is what when people get called out for doing dumb shit, or doing things that are pretty far on the absurd side of the law they come back with the usual response of "omg i bet you never break the speed limit or nevAr do anything wrong!1!ONE1!!1". It happens alot, and eventually you'll crash. You are not 10 feet tall or invincible, so stop acting like it.
I do stupid things as well, but, I also expect it to bite me in the ass when I do. If it doesnt, well thats just a bonus.

It's funny cause there is a lot of history in the club he doesn't know about. I doubt most of us have seen him in person. The club is getting older and more mature (jackassery last weekend aside) and knows better than to brag about triple digits speeds on local roads. If you do do it, you certainly shouldn't be spouting off to people that realize the dangers involved and proclaim to club members that MM shouldn't condone it.

okay, i've had enough of this shit. I don't ever peruse the motorcycle forum b/c I don't have a motorcycle, nor do i intend to get one. However, this thread, which is the first and hopefully last I'll read in this section of the forum, was brought to my attention by another member.
Personally, I think "junooni" is the one that needs to get his cybercock sucked; seriously you have the internet presence of a 10 year old. If you disagree so much with how our club operates in terms of not being a total retard on the street, then get the fuck out. It's really easy; just get the phone numbers of the guys from this forum that you ride with, and whenever you want to go and double the speed limit and endanger yourself and others, give them a call and see if they want to be witnesses.
Our requests that you not post up about your idiocy are not only very simple to follow, but have an extremely important meaning: we like being addressed as an organization and not a group of idiots who terrorize the streets of harrisonburg and act like general assholes. Everybody in our club has done this at times, but it sounds to me like some of you have perfected it into an art, and it hurts me to think it's potentially within our club. If I saw you being a dumbass, and later saw our sticker on your bike, the only thing that would prevent me from removing that sticker would be my respect for all vehicles, regardless of owner or type of vehicle. Once again I must reiterate that if you dislike how we work, why are you still here on our forum?

Wow, this thread is going out of control. I only wanted to know who wants to ride(motorcycles), not ride each other's ass about comments. Anyway, admin or whoever, shut this thread down already. I read this thread for entertainment purpose now, since it no longer serve as a way to find people to ride with.
Mike - If you read carefully you would notice I never said anything about breaking any laws or discrediting your club. If you were referring to my wheelie comments, well then you better tell RJ not to say crap about his 25mph wheelie, which is way more dangerous than a faster one.(assuming we are both doing it in a empty parking lot with no moving vehicles)

Besides....i dont want the bike to standout, gotta be the rider that is bling bling right?!?! I try my best to look nice for the people on campus, thanks. Just remember, its not a safety thing, its a bling thing, gotta look nice squidding around, armor are just for show. haha.
PS - im a squid, hardcore. You should see the chicken strip on my tire, they are huge!! According to Junooni i have "enuf chicken strip to feed a family of 4" hahahaha. So, all you guys out there, better watch out for that gixxer1 who doesnt know how to lean~!!!

The point here is that if anyone posts on this forum about speeding etc. it draws attention to the club that we don't need. Did anyone notice that when comments were posted about people speeding over the ISAT bridge campus police started running radar there? JMU officials scan this forum to see if there is any jackassary going on and if discussion of it is posted here it is associated with us regardless of whether or not the person is a club member.
The overriding theme here is if something that would make the club look bad occurs don't post it on here. It was hard enough to get this club started with people having the idea that car enthusiasts are street racers etc. Believe me that it won't take much for the university to shut us down if something occurs that they don't want associated with them.
Have fun on your bikes and exercise caution when its needed. I would love to eventually own one myself and don't want to see insurance rates on them and people's negative attitudes towards riders increase.

han, i apologize for your thread getting hijacked, but this wouldnt be an MM thread without it getting offtopic within 5 posts.
i think a lot of the problem comes from the fact that this group is a motorsports related group, not a car club. we had a hell of a time getting official recognition from the university because they thought we'd be a liability. most of us know each other and have been to various track events that emphasize the importance of safety. i dont think a whole lot of people know some of the riders though like junooni, han, ross, etc. i apologize if they do, but i dont know you guys. so we get a little worried when jackassery gets posted on the forum. yes we're all guilty of it. we wouldnt be in MM if we didnt love going fast and we wouldnt go fast if we werent jackasses about it at some point. i know i cant say shit to you guys about slowing down because i drive pretty fast and if i had a bike, i know i'd be in big big trouble. you can ask g.irish. he's been chipping away at me for like 2 years about getting a bike and i hate him for it cuz i want one so bad. thats besides the point though. i'm just saying that as a club, we want you guys to be safe about riding and if something bad happens as a result of jackassery, then please dont bring it to public attention.
