- PDenbigh - 03-24-2006 yep - Dave - 03-24-2006 whenever, August works fine if it will be cheaper. Make sure you get a price quote so that we all know what our final prices will be before you commit to an order. - Mike - 03-24-2006 also, is there any reason we're going with rallynuts as opposed to demontweeks? when i was seat shopping, tweeks was a couple hundred cheaper. - Andy - 03-24-2006 Dave Wrote:whenever, August works fine if it will be cheaper. Of course Rally Nuts will have a shipping quote on Monday. - Evan - 03-24-2006 Mike Wrote:also, is there any reason we're going with rallynuts as opposed to demontweeks? when i was seat shopping, tweeks was a couple hundred cheaper.my experience with them was that the shipping quote through the web interface was way off. When I emailed a rep to get the real quote, demon turned out to be much more expensive. Its definately worth looking into both though - Andy - 03-24-2006 I'll send Demontweeks an email too. Any other suggestions? - Chris - 03-28-2006 May should work for me. just let me know what you find out and when we can get you the money. thanks Andy! - Andy - 03-29-2006 Update: Neither Demontweeks nor Rallynuts have replied. I just sent them another email demanding satisfaction. - Mike - 03-29-2006 <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.video-c.co.uk/micrositedisplayfull.asp?vidref=benn001&page=watch&FileType=ADSLProg">http://www.video-c.co.uk/micrositedispl ... e=ADSLProg</a><!-- m --> - Chris - 03-29-2006 Mike Wrote:http://www.video-c.co.uk/micrositedisplayfull.asp?vidref=benn001&page=watch&FileType=ADSLProg damn thats hot!!! - Sijray21 - 03-30-2006 Mike Wrote:http://www.video-c.co.uk/micrositedisplayfull.asp?vidref=benn001&page=watch&FileType=ADSLProg i have the sudden urge to buy tools.... hock:
- Andy - 03-30-2006 RallyNuts and Demon Tweeks got back to me today. RallyNuts is waiting from shipping suppliers to give them a price quote so theyÔÇÖll get back to me when their people get back to them. Demon Tweeks need part numbers because theyÔÇÖre retarded and I donÔÇÖt have time at work to research them. IÔÇÖll figure out the part numbers when I get home. - PDenbigh - 03-30-2006 Already gave my Rallynuts part#'s, here's Demon-tweeks': SSP40212 - Profi III-6 Harness , Colours:RED SSP40213 - Profi III-6H Harness , Colours:RED SABZ101020L - Racer 2 Seat , Colours:BLACK S/S892FBLK - S-Light Circuit , Colours:BLACK, Material:FIBREGLASS - Dave - 03-30-2006 Evo 2 seat rallynuts PN: S/S859L demon tweeks: S/S856FBLK - Chris - 03-31-2006 rally nuts: (2) Sabelt indianapolis seats: Black (RFSE2002) (2) Sabelt racer seats: Black (20L) (4) Sabelt Steel Side Mount Kit: Standard Length (Z200004) (2) WORXSPEC Seat Mounting Bolt Kit: 2 Seats Kit (WS7002) Demon tweeks: (2) cobra evolution competition seats: COBEVODBLK/GRY/GRA - Evolution Competition Seat , Size:STANDARD VERSION, Colours:BLACK/GREY CENTRE, Options IOLEN GRAPHITE SHELL(2) SABZ101020L - Racer 2 Seat , Colours:BLACK (2) SABZ200004 - Side Seat mounts , Size:3MM THICK, Options:STEEL SIDE MOUNT (2) COBSUBFR10 - Steel Sidemounts - PDenbigh - 03-31-2006 Here's an interesting observation. I priced my stuff out at Rallynuts and Deamon-tweeks, and the cheapest I could get it including shipping was $1,308.00. I'd be paying $208USD to ship the stuff from over the pond. I spec'd a comparable system from OGracing (same seats, different brand harnesses) and the total came to $1,288.00. Unless we get a serious discount on shipping, it would be easier for me to just go to OG, pick the stuff up, and drop it off at the cage builders and not worry about shipping anything. Plus, I could patronize a local shop. Andy, do you have any idea what sort of discount the GP would allow? Would it be on pricing or shipping or both? Thanks, Peter - Andy - 03-31-2006 I didn't discuss hard numbers with them. I wanted to hear back on the shipping. I'll call OG today and talk to them about an order. I never even considered them cause the prices they were listing on the internet were twice as expensive as RallyNuts. - Dragon - 03-31-2006 Talk to Brian Hair over there, he's a good guy I race with him all the time at Allsports. - .RJ - 03-31-2006 +1 for Brian, he's good people - Andy - 03-31-2006 I don't think Brian doesn't work there anymore. |
