Tradition? We never go to g-force? g-force is more fun?

- Evan - 12-20-2005

If by "fun" you mean "painful"

reason we have done gfarce in the past is that it is, or used to be, significantly cheaper than allsprots, if that has changed Id rather do allsprots.

- .RJ - 12-20-2005

I just got off the phone with G-Force, its $700 for the first hour, and $600 for each additional hour - so if we did 2 hrs (say, 80 minute enduro + warm up sessions), with 20 people (2 per team?), it would be $65 per person.

shit that's a bargain. wish i could come.

- .RJ - 12-20-2005

Matt says that it would be roughly $150 per kart for the same seat time at allsports - so, $75/person for a 2 person team.

- Sijray21 - 12-20-2005

i'd be very down for this

let's get a list and probable dates!

- .RJ - 12-20-2005

I would rather do g-force - anyone else? sound off Smile

i too would rather go to g-force, but i would definitely be willing to do it at all-sports

Jason
g-force preferred
all-sports willing

- .RJ - 12-20-2005

Matt says: $170 per kart, 8 kart minimum, that's for a 10 minute practice session and a 120 lap race.

120 lap race would be roughly 50 minutes with pit stops.

- JohnC - 12-20-2005

I'd prefer G-Force, as its much closer...

- .RJ - 12-20-2005

I think sunday would be more likely for that, and would be good for practice for the PCA league

But I'd like to have a big club event as well Smile

- Mike - 12-20-2005

i agree... i just wanna do this in addition to that Smile

- .RJ - 12-20-2005

you in for the PCA league mikey?

- Mike - 12-20-2005

i'll run a couple, not sure about the whole season.

- Dragon - 12-20-2005

Obviously I'd prefer to do the event at Allsports since I wouldn't have to pay anything, however I am up for G-Force if that's the consensus. You wouldn't be able to do the event in Super Karts at Allsports since there's an 8 kart minimum and there's only 6 Super Karts. I have to work tonight so if you guys want I can see if we can get the event pushed up to 160 laps instead of 120 for the same price. I do have some pull there afterall. Whichever way this goes I'm down, just would prefer it some other day besides Jan 6/7.

- Mike - 12-20-2005

so matt... you're working tonight? Tongue

- mpg9999 - 12-20-2005

Since we are on the topic of karting, could one of the officers get in contact with me about doing an intercollegiate karting event this spring? If any of the officers are in nova we can even go grab a beer or some food to discuss. Cell is 703 589 5988 email mpg9999 at gmail.com
