Nice protege Jacko

First car: carfaxed salvage title
Second car: Uh, we are putting the power window on it should be ready in 30-45 minutes. This was a trade-in on a STi
Third car: Uh the seats and steering wheel were stolen last week, replacement parts will be here in 10 days. We will list the car at the same price. We can sell it to you as is: "what like $7000?" No like $12,000 "Welp see you later..."
Fourth car: Blingin' clear corners and window tint.

- Mike - 12-10-2005

um what were they?

Was gonna check out this one in Fairfax tomorrow anyone down with coming? I don't know what I am doing...

- Mike - 12-10-2005

what is wrong with a car that has a broken power window?
what is wrong with a car that had some parts stolen? they were being replaced.
what is wrong with a car that has clear corners and tint?

- .RJ - 12-10-2005

If you show up at a dealership to look at a car that's busted..... would you buy it? Who knows what else is wrong. Now the clear corners and tint, i dont know those are easily fixed.

- WRXtranceformed - 12-10-2005

Rob, if you're looking at two WRXs, one for 18,900, you really should consider mine at $19,000. Unless you're looking for a stock car? Mine is newer and probably has less miles than the 03.

All the stock parts will come with it too, so if you wanted to return it to stock you could.

- Feersty - 12-10-2005

Yeah I was definitely considering it, and I think buying yours would make the buying process a lot less stressful.

- WRXtranceformed - 12-10-2005

Yup, I'm free all day tomorrow. What's a good time / place for you?

- Feersty - 12-10-2005

We'll take this to pm.

- Dave - 12-11-2005

Feersty. I had an ingenious brainstorm.
Save 15 grand and buy my 240sx for a mere 3500. We all know it's track proven, very few issues, reliable, light, RWD, and easy to work on. It isn't the prettiest car on the street, but instead of dropping all that coin, buy a dependable chassis, get a cheap paint job and call it a day. I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but the only thing I can see as to why you wouldn't want it is because it isn't a "new" car.
I guess a more important question would be if you plan on going out on track soon. You'll be much less likely to track a car that you are still making payments on...

Especially payments that eat up an entire paycheck, with insurance.

- Dave - 12-11-2005

I love paying all my bills with just a little more than one paycheck :-D. Leaves the other three for me!

Dave Wrote:I love paying all my bills with just a little more than one paycheck :-D. Leaves the other three for me!

Well, I was referring to 2 paydays a month.... so yeah, it'll hurt writing that check every month.

- Dave - 12-11-2005

yeah, but I get 4 paychecks a month Big Grin. 2 nice ones from Toyota, 2 small ones from Sheetz. Plus a nice monthly commission at Toyota too. Takes a Toyota check a Sheetz check to pay bills usually. The rest goes to living, cars, investments, or paying off debt.

Off topic, once again. What's new. Feersty: what did you end up buying and if nothing why not buy mine? If you absolutely had to be fast, you could probably pay somebody to put an SR20DET into it, or better yet an RB engine. This would probably make you faster and still be a ton cheaper. Just food for though.

- Mike - 12-11-2005

he should buy my car if he wants to go fast. driven right, it'd smoke a 240 all day long Tongue

- WRXtranceformed - 12-11-2005

Rob, check your PMs about meeting up today.
