- PDenbigh - 09-28-2005 I Am scheduled for 12:00 and 2:00, but will be going down earlier. When is everyone else scheduled? - Evan - 09-28-2005 Ryan T Wrote:I kinda doubt they'll do one pull each. It takes twice as long to strap a car down as it does to do a pull. I seriously doubt it takes more than 10 minutes to strap a car down, $50 should buy at least a solid 30 minutes of total time - Ryan T - 09-28-2005 Evan Wrote:\Ryan T Wrote:I kinda doubt they'll do one pull each. It takes twice as long to strap a car down as it does to do a pull. Yeah, it only takes ten minutes to strap a car down and hook the sensor up to your exhaust pipe and such, but it only takes about 45 seconds to do a pull. That's a lot of extra work to just do one pull and then take it all back off and only get $20. - Dave - 09-28-2005 ok, so Pete, Adam, and I are the only ones going to this. Anybody else want to go? I'll be doing my pull on the 240 at 8am. I have to work 9-2 at Toyota and 3-11 at Sheetz, so that is pretty much the only time I could run. - Ryan T - 09-28-2005 I'll be there, but I won't be dynoing. I haven't done any mods since the last time I was on a dyno, so theres really no point. - ViPER1313 - 09-28-2005 My appointment is at 2:30, right after Petes 2nd run. You guys want to meet up someplace? - D_Eclipse9916 - 09-28-2005 Yeah im in to go look, but I literally dont have 50 bucks to do it. Circuit City hopefully will hire me in their tech bay, then it will be MAD MODDING TIME!!! woohoo... - JustinG - 10-01-2005 so where we meetings??????? - Mike - 10-01-2005 ew for some reason i thought this was in or around nova... im out for meeting your guys!
- JustinG - 10-01-2005 if anyone decides call my cell 1-434-390-6300 - Dave - 10-01-2005 129 hp, 132 trq from the 240 pile. - ViPER1313 - 10-01-2005 Power is about where it should have been, A/F is very lean at lower RPMs -
- HAULN-SS - 10-01-2005 Definately cant read that image...have something higher res? - lillitnn92 - 10-01-2005 HAULN-SS Wrote:Definately cant read that image...have something higher res? click on it!
- ScottyB - 10-02-2005 Adam....i was very surprised. for an older vehicle your engine is really stout. and Dave, the fact that you can get your 240 around a track like you do with 130 whp or so is pretty awesome. gotta love the torque! - PDenbigh - 10-02-2005 Had some fun with the XR! Set the boost at 18psi, drove it around for 4 hard runs to make sure we didn't hear detonation, and then put it on the dyno. Max Power: 302.4 Max Torque 310.0 At the wheels :-) I feel good about these numbers because they were real world. It was an already hot engine from our 4 runs, and the dyno was in the direct sun. The second run with abour 30 seconds cooldown lost a coupel of HP but still right there, so I feel it's a pretty repeatable number. Sadly, I know have the boost turned back down for the track, but it was quite fun that that level! Good to see everyone there! - .RJ - 10-02-2005 nice numbers pete. You should be "turning it to 11" for the track!
- lillitnn92 - 10-02-2005 sweet!! - Nis01 - 10-02-2005 Impressive numbers... no need to turn it down... - ScottyB - 10-02-2005 wow Pete, that's hot |
