What are you going to buy?

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-04-2005

I'll let you know as soon as I figure it out... lol.

- Andy - 06-14-2005

sold the car yet?

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-14-2005

nope. 1 person coming wed, 1 person coming on weekend, one person buying a plane ticket from cali... lol

- Feersty - 06-14-2005

Damn all the way from Cali? You can probably get a lot more money outta that guy for what it's worth.

Kid showed up today with his dad and plopped $3500 on the table in 100s. Maybe in 5 weeks, when I'm about to move... I might consider it... but why would someone waste my time with that shit? REEEEDICKULOUS

so he didnt call you first....just showed up? that's stupid, but i guess they thought cash could talk you into it.

- G.Irish - 06-22-2005

Haha, nice downpayment.

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-22-2005

actually, we did talk first, but he didn't talk money. When he dropped it down, I wanted to say "where's the other half?"

- HAULN-SS - 06-22-2005

Should've taken the money. Unless you're holding out for a collector or something.
Just taking a guess at your options and stuff from the for sale article.

Private Party Value Search Local Listings | List This Car for Sale $3,370
Private Party Value is what a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than the continuing factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle's actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes.

KBB sux.

Why take $3500 when he can get at least $5000 for it?

That says it all. Especially now that people are taking interest in the 7 again since it is one of the very few oem turbo rwd cars of the era.

exactly my point..the only person who's even gonna know that is a collector-ish/fanatic type of person...good luck though

which should really be the only people looking at jack's car in the first place. your average joe isn't gonna be like "i need a new car... hrm there was this awesome unreliable rx7 turbo car made in the 80s that would be great for me!"

- Jeff - 06-22-2005

HAULN-SS is thinking more along the lines of a car like our Cordoba. No one wants this car, but it is in mint condition and to us worth $4500. But the highest offer is a $2500 if we drive it to his house in AZ. Jacks car has a larger market of people willing to drop big $$ on it. He will find his collector/car nut easy. I on the other had will be e-baying and talking our car up until some 80y/o man with a month left to live writes us a bad check for it.

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-23-2005

Yeah, for 3500, I'll just keep the car and take it with me to Chicago. I won't need it as a DD, so I'll just set it up for zeee track.

Might encourage me to find a place with a garage too Smile

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-27-2005

Solid offer for 4k now.
ac is fixed.
did a prepurchase inspection and it came back A-1
