The Lebaron and the TC are different cars. The bodies and interiors were "hand crafted" by Maserati and the drivetrains were provided by Chrysler. The car was announced in 85 but the first were sold in 88 as 89 models. The lagtime between announcement and release made for few sales. Also note, Maserati provided the brakes ![]() More info - http://www.allpar.com/model/tc.html - Mike - 04-03-2005 sweet, never knew that car existed. - bassmangrammy - 04-03-2005 good drive...I was alittle concerned with the rain going into the mountains with a car that I hadn't driven hard before, but it performed wonderfully. The transmission was smooth and powerful and made the drive very enjoyable. - WRXtranceformed - 04-03-2005 That Merkur looks fuckin sick from the front man! What a cool unique car. Hopefully I can join you all on the next one. I was busy up in G-town drinking to the face in a suit and tie at the Marriott 8) |
