The driver of the lima bean must just suck. He got school. - Mike - 10-26-2004 BassmanGrammy Wrote:mongooze Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:Best damn picture of the weekend. HA! I love it! That A2 passing the viper has a VR6 motor I believe. But yes, the Viper is very slow for a Viper. - BLAIR - 10-26-2004 the a2 has a vr6 swap from a passat. Ive watched him for years. I love seeing a old VW passing all kinds of cool high hp cars - Sijray21 - 10-27-2004 yo, here's the link to my shots... http://community.webshots.com/user/sijray21 webshots sux for hosting... - white_2kgt - 10-27-2004 theguywiththeSi Wrote:yo, here's the link to my shots... this is nuts! remind me not to bring the Mazda 6 to the track, fok! ![]() --chad - Sijray21 - 10-27-2004 white_2kgt Wrote:theguywiththeSi Wrote:yo, here's the link to my shots... haha, actually he was one of the best stoppers on 5 that day. A lot of people were heating up there brakes to that point, but not usually in the HPDE's, mostly the HC guys. I saw the 6 and the miata in group 2 heating up there brakes enough to get them to glow...craziness. - Chris - 10-27-2004 the way my car looks under braking, you'd think the brakes were on fire  - Mike - 10-27-2004 wonder what kind of tires the 6 is running... tires are my limit, not brake power (unless of course my pad cracks in half). Flaming brakes - bimmerboodle - 10-27-2004 Chris Wrote:the way my car looks under braking, you'd think the brakes were on fire  The green VW in HPDE had green flames coming from his pads in T1 - Mike - 10-27-2004 uhhh that was probably metal on metal

Azenis, I made a point to look. - white_2kgt - 10-27-2004 MichaelJComputer Wrote:uhhh that was probably metal on metal or really crappy pads. I've got XP10, RA1's and a 3400lb car and I don't think my rotors get THAT hot! --chad - Evan - 10-27-2004 good pads are exactly why your rotors would get that hot - Mike - 10-27-2004 damn, azenis? he must have been dragging them or something... or the 6 is a pig. - white_2kgt - 10-27-2004 Evan Wrote:good pads are exactly why your rotors would get that hot at turn 10???? --chad - Evan - 10-27-2004 thats turn 5 - bimmerboodle - 10-28-2004 MichaelJComputer Wrote:uhhh that was probably metal on metal We called it to Pit Out a copuple times...I hope he checked - Sijray21 - 10-28-2004 MichaelJComputer Wrote:damn, azenis? he must have been dragging them or something... or the 6 is a pig. The curb weight of the mazda 6 is 3045 lbs. to 3389 lbs, depending on model and engine. He must have had a good set of pads though b/c he still had stopping power with the rotors glowing. - white_2kgt - 10-29-2004 euorimage pics are up, http://www.euroimage.us/ --chad - Chris - 11-04-2004 Heres another link about the Cobra race (pics of the wrecked car).
