I'm trying to go for a kind of OEM+ look. The integras seats aren't terrible, but I'm a pretty wide guy, so for me they're one of those seats that you kind of sit on rather than in. I didn't think about prelude seats, though, that might be a good idea.

The prelude seats are even tighter. I think they're some of the narrowest honda/acura seats of that generation, so you may not like those either. If you want a little wider the eg or ek civic seats may work well for you.

Good to know, thanks.

most people like the del sol seat swaps. I was always fine with the integra seats, even as wide as I am.

EK seats might be wider... my OMP First-Rs in the Integra would touch in the middle and touch the doors, but in the EM1 they easily clear the doors and don't touch. The cabin has more room so I would think Honda would fill it with a wider seat. it would be worth looking into. You will need to weld your old seat rails on the EK seats to make them work though.

Just a little update on the teg; picked up a new suspension setup! Koni STR.T(oranges) with H&R OE Sport springs. Barely used, just need a little cleaning up to be perfect. I'd post better pictures but the camera on my brand new phone just broke. Not sure when they're going on because I'm super busy as of late, but I'm very excited. nice! got my STR.T's used as well and they make a great daily setup.

Been a minute.

I've done a good bit since picking up the suspension setup. That whole installation was an absolite nightmare, but its done and it looks great. Handling wise, its not a huge jump, but it definitely helps.

Also got some si-vtec corner lights and an si-vtec style front lip, and I love the front end now. The mirrors and side mouldings are paint matched to the car, and I've got some sweet del sol seats sitting in plave of the stock ones. I've got a yonaka catback to install, just a matter of finding the time.

It's late and I'm bored, so I figured I'd write about my teg.

I've owned the car for almost 4 years now, and it's been an absolute champ. Outside of routine maintenance, it chugged past 200k miles with only minor hiccups like needing new brake and clutch cylinders or some starting issues.

My KONI STR.T/H&R setup was getting pretty tired, so I managed to find a pretty good deal on a set of Function and Form Type 1s on Facebook, and it sits pretty low now. I wasn't super sure about the setup at first, but after living with it for a summer, I've gotten used to the ride and I really like the look. They're not the best coilover, but for daily use and occasional spirited driving I don't mind them. There's too much camber up front due to a bent LCA that hasn't been fixed yet, but hopefully I'll find some time to fix that soon.
I also found a good deal on a set of 15x7 5Zigen FN01R-Cs that were polished underneath the bright green plasti-dip from the previous owner.

Easily one of the best modifications to date was the OEM ITR SRS steering wheel that was also a bit of a Facebook bargain. It's in pretty rough shape, but I love the feel.

Next summer I'm hoping to get my hands dirty with a swap. I drove a b20 civic a few months ago and really liked the feel, so unless I can score a good deal on a gsr motor I'm planning to find a high comp b20 to throw in.

Holy cow, it's been 4 years?!?!?!?

Heart Begins With H - jmwhtzl - 09-16-2021

I know, it feels like just yesterday I was buying my old miata from you! Got the chance to drive an ND recently and it made me miss that car a lot.

Is that Miata still alive?

Heart Begins With H - jmwhtzl - 09-16-2021

I doubt it. Last time I saw it the guy I sold it to had wrapped one side around a pole or a tree or something. He was still driving it somehow, though.
