That needs to happen. Also get the bmw performance exhaust. It's not like I'm researching them or anything...

I was going to post that car here as inspiration! That's such a great thread...

Those wheels are so good too, 513M from the F80. Great wheels and go for relatively cheap. I've looked at a thousand pics trying to decide what springs and I'm pretty sure I'm going Dinan or AC Schnitzer.

I love my PE that I had on both the 3 and the 1.

Yes I like it too. But sheesh, BMW sure is proud of it. Need to find a used one or get a hookup from my buddy at the dealership.

BMW is proud of it because they actually make it out of lighter materials than stock too.    It's really not too horribly priced compared to other high quality systems in the BMW world.  These ain't E36s...

Because its a factory part.  It fits 100%, no rattles, no droning.

Shiiiiiit. Justin, you gotta do those springs. That's a cheap upgrade and looks perfect.

$240 is a no brainer.

CASHBURN!!!

Project: AWD Turbo Family Hauler (PART DEUX) - JustinG - 03-30-2018

Ordered a few things and they came in today....

LaminX tint kit for the front to protect the head/fog lights. Includes head/fog/sidemarkers. Got it all in the "Tint" color vs clear. I won't be applying it to the side markers. I may order the red color matched sidemarkers, but the orange doesn't stand out on the red.

They had some pics of "Tint" on a red car on their website. Figured if im doing the gloss black grills the tint would look good. Yellow fogs on red car = no bueno IMO.

If not, I'll just order the clear.

Also got the clear bumper protector film. Protects the top of the bumper from scratches when loading/unloading. It saved the Prius and Casey's cx5 from dog scratches numerous times.

I also went ahead and ordered a roll of 3m Carbon Fiber look vinyl. I can't stand the wood trim. Used trim is stupid expensive, and the M Performance trim is just not happening for $900.

We will see how it looks. It gives it a dry carbon look. But if it looks cheap, I'll yank it off and be out $30. But people have had good results when not over doing it.

Came here to say this.  Gawddang, I'm just looking at those pics like

In typical BMW fashion I see the factory wheels are really on point for the body style, but if you decide to go with other/aftermarket wheels combined with the lowering, I'm sure you could amp up the hotness 300%.  Looking forward to this

RE: Project: AWD Turbo Family Hauler (PART DEUX) - JustinG - 03-30-2018

I dont see myself doing anything other than a variant of BMW oem wheels. Those F80 513 wheels on the lowered red wagon would be a nice upgrade. But im also happy with the 441m on the car.
