Looks like the user specified image size (in this case max height of 500px) is being overriden by the max width of 70% and it's actually upsizing the images.

I am an Admin and I assume you are as well.... standard users may not have permission to that sub forum after the upgrade. I would check but that would take at least 10 seconds more than writing this sentence.

Actually, the problem seems to be that if you navigate using the tabs at the top, in lounge you see Madison Motorsports > Madison Motorsports instead of Madison Motorsports>lounge

Ah. It's showing the name of the whole board, and then the name of the "forum category" (which is also named Madison Motorsports) before the actual forum name. Let me see if I can eliminate the first one.
I did check permissions and they should be correct for every type of user.

One thing I would suggest if possible is to make the stickied posts at the top of each section stand out a little more so that you know they are actually sticky posts. They don't look any different from normal posts at this point. Not a huge issue, but it would help important stickied topics to stand out.
Edit: Actually it looks like some sections have an important threads section at the top, but the stickied posts on the lounge aren't in that for some reason.

I just figured something out, hopefully I'm not the last one. In your user options, uncheck "Show friendly redirect pages"
This gets rid of the intermediate/confirmation screen when posting a reply or "mark all topics read":

The selected forum has been marked as read.
Click here if you don't want to wait any longer.
I will miss the "click here..." part though.
Does anyone want to wait any longer? I never understood why I was waiting at all in the first place!
