Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - .RJ - 10-01-2015 No, they would prefer you ride on the back of a grass fed, organic goat to work. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - SlimKlim - 10-01-2015 That's animal abuse, check your human privilege, shitlord. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - ScottyB - 10-01-2015 lol portland "sympathetic and concerned citizen", translation: "i'm a self righteous twat and need to validate my obnoxious personality in a passive aggressive manner" Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - CaptainHenreh - 10-01-2015 ScottyB Wrote:lol portland Now now I'm sure mikey didn't write that note. Aside from the throttle body wiring recall I had to have done on it, my MKV only had some really minor quirks like the gas cap light coming on when the cap was tight or the trans dropping into failsafe mode for apparently no reason once or twice. Both went away with a restart. You people are retarded...... Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - SlimKlim - 10-01-2015 Yeah but I didn't have to tear the motor apart and sell the thing in pieces. One day I'll probably get burned and never buy another one, but not today. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - HAULN-SS - 01-14-2016 Well, Lindsay VW will give you an extra $100 on top of your free $500 VW scam money. Had the DSG service done, and an oil change done, and the battery tested because I had a weird no-start issue for about 5 minutes one day a couple of weeks ago. $540 when it was all said and done, and I didn't pay anything, so whatever. Still have $60 and a free oil change coming to me next time I'm in there. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - HAULN-SS - 04-21-2016 Egr recirc check engine light came on... Just in time for announcement of buyback? Awww yis Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - .RJ - 04-21-2016 unpimp ze auto Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - HAULN-SS - 04-27-2016 Dayum. Must be living wrong. Last night on the way home, started to get a really violent shake in the whole car (but not steering wheel) - mostly noticeable under acceleration. I'm thinking engine mount, or some kind of axle/tie rod problem - any ideas? I think I can drive it to the local independent shop nearby, but wouldnt want to go much further. I also don't want to put a bunch of money into something that is maybe/probably getting bought back. Might have to let it sit in the driveway til they are ready to take care of that. Good thing I have a fleet. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - PDenbigh - 04-27-2016 Misfire. Coilpack perhaps? Does it idle ok? Most pronoucned at low RPMs/High load scenario. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - HAULN-SS - 04-27-2016 Idles fine it seems. The extent of the shake was different at different RPMs, but seemed perfectly smooth at idle, or when the car was in neutral and revving. It seems to be drivetrain related. It was dark, and i was alone so I couldnt pop the hood and watch for shakes last night. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - Ken - 04-27-2016 HAULN-SS Wrote:Idles fine it seems. That's how the GTI was when the coilpacks went; then it felt like the car was going to shake itself into a million pieces when you started moving. Re: Vee DafuqDidIjustDo Sportwagen - .RJ - 04-27-2016 One of your CV's has probably shit the bed. Check for torn axle boots. |
