"Yes, having 5 drivers competing would be a lot, but the car has a new engine, new transmission, new axles, and a slew of other parts. I have a policy of letting anyone drive the car to enjoy rallyx.
As for driving style, the car is setup to take a beating, so I don't mind it being driven hard like Kevin Allen would drive, not like Sebastien :-) The big issue is I don't have a tow vehicle, and thus it has to make it home again.
The terms are this: $50 each, and that covers gas and regular wear and tear that you get from rallyx. If, however, one of the drivers causes breakage then they gotta pay to get it fixed and a tow to Raleigh if its not drivable."

. Those are reasonable terms if you ask me, though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little more concerned if 5 people are all abusing the same car in a day. I'll trust that you guys have a better judgement on how hard RallyX is on a car.Scotty - if I go AWOL on here and you guys need some kind of commitment, please just hit me up directly. ah sorry, here's another try at a picture of "the dirtbomb" as its affectionately called. ooooold gutted legacy with some hard miles but its basically a 2.5RS underneath. runs in the rally tire class.

well its his call on how much abuse he thinks it can take, so if he thinks it can do it then i'd assume he's got a good bead on things.
i'll shoot you an email - we will need to start getting a plan and a headcount figured out within the next few weeks to make sure we get you guys a seat before someone else takes him up on a codrive opportunity.

just a follow-up...event pulled almost 40 cars and its getting a lot of attention from some of the stage rally guys for future test and tunes because the course was awesome. if you guys have the means for a future event here i strongly suggest getting your butts in a seat.
2-1/2 minute run times....just killer.

Really bummed that I couldn't make it out for this, but the time and money to be down at VIR for a day was just too much, given I'm trying to save like mad for a longer-term plan... hopefully there will be one in the spring that I can plan to attend!
