Receipt? lol its not a state stop sign. Found it in the road driving down RT11 and decided to pick it up.

That's, like, not ok.

I would not want to have the excuse you are using right now when you are talking to a VA trooper... haha

Re: 1998 Subaru Legacy GT wagon - rallywagongian - 12-01-2014

Who looks under my car when I have a traffic stop anyway?

Re: 1998 Subaru Legacy GT wagon - Goodspeed - 12-01-2014

I'm pretty sure in the right light a cop sitting in the median would be able to spot it.

Re: 1998 Subaru Legacy GT wagon - *insertusernamehere* - 12-02-2014

Gian, I will say this, you have zero luck when it comes to cops... but i will also say his car is deceivingly low and you really have no idea to even suspect it's there unless you went to go check out his oil pan or something? :?

I hear what you're saying, but you've got State Property bolted to your car.

Yeah, I'd probably at the very least paint that thing. That's just asking for problems.

Re: 1998 Subaru Legacy GT wagon - Senor_Taylor - 12-02-2014

Can we take a second and talk about how well, or poorly a stop sign would work as a skid? What are they made of?

Re: 1998 Subaru Legacy GT wagon - JustinG - 12-03-2014

Aluminum afaik

Re: 1998 Subaru Legacy GT wagon - xvxax - 12-04-2014

You should paint it to quiet down the worst case scenario preppers in this thread.

All that good stuff has to come off for inspection. All my Aux lights, and now the stop sign. stop sign is actually the easiest to take off, just 4 carriage bolts. The lights are the biggest pain in the ass,

Hey, it works for what i do, (which is not much) and it beats paying $400 plus shipping for one that is fit for my car. ( https://www.rallyinnovations.com/produc ... prod_id=95 )

And my oil pan already has a bunch of dings in it, why not throw something on top of it to protect it.
