Welp as some of you know I put my car up for sale to hopefully fund this shithole a little bit. I want to start generating a list of things to look at/do for this summer. Also if I bought some beer/pizza who would be down for a little wrench session sometime over the summa? Car is located in Spotsylvania, VA.

Maybe, if you have that kinda spare cash, you could transfer all the racecar pieces from you current e30 to this e30 and it's go time! Don't ask me how much sense that does or does not make but i'll throw it out there :mrgreen:

Meh. My car's body already has a roll bar welded in and other goodies. Mainly I'm looking for a running E30 that was slammed in the rear that has a running motor. Part out interior and exterior tid bits that are good and removed the motor and take what I need. Looking for something around 500. Thanks for the lookout though! Also it needs to be a 325 not a 318

What Kaan said. This thread left off last year with needing to test the vacuum, but also had a variety of other loose ends to look into.
If you're tired of dicking with it, get it to a mechanic (if you can't drive it, tow it) and let them trouble shoot it. They probably won't rape you too badly for the diagnostics, especially if you can tell them what was replaced already. I'd rather do that than to buy another car/headache and invite even more work by scrapping a 2nd car and then just have 2 cars that don't run. It doesn't sound like fuel considering what you've done so far, so try the other two parts required to make it run...
Also, if you haven't already, go to an E30-specific forum. You'll get much more specific advice because, you know, they'll be intimately familiar with what it takes to keep these piles running.

Yeah I've asked around on R3vlimited (an E30 forum) and got pretty much the same responses as here! Ultimately I'm not looking to replace the motor it would just save some headache by throwing a running one in and saving me time diagnosing it.

I bet when you disconnect that "running" motor to put it in the car you still have the same problem.
You may or may not find it when you remove the old motor, remove the new motor, them install the new motor.

Testing waters with putting this up for sale. Went home, starter is bad and it's now leaking fuel from the fuel line by the driver door. I no longer have time or money to work on it
