Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - Kaan - 12-16-2013 is that where you guys were headed when we saw you saturday morning? Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - SlimKlim - 12-16-2013 Yessir. Last fateful drive in the poor old thing. Hopefully it ends up with someone that will fix it up and squeeze some more life out of it. Every car I've sold, save for the Focus, has thrown an absolute shitfit when it was time to go to a new home. Power top worked fine the whole time I had it. Then 5 minutes before a guy came to see it, the top stuck halfway up and went into limp mode. Sunuva Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - SlimKlim - 12-16-2013 I was in the car with Jake on my way to pick up the VW, check in hand, when the seller called me and sheepishly informed me that a truck had kicked up a rock in front of him and made a pretty significant chip in the windshield, not even 2 miles before he was getting off the highway to meet us. I had already seen the car twice so I knew he was telling the truth. They always know. Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - Evan - 12-18-2013 guy came to buy up my wifes 4 year old Infiniti, we had it for less than 2 of those years, and in that time one of the license plate bolts seized and snapped when trying to swap plates. NOTHING got it out. Luckily he bought it anyway, saying he would take it to a machine shop to get it out. Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - SlimKlim - 12-18-2013   That's ridiculous, I would've busted out my double-sided tape. Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - Sully - 12-21-2013 My M3 started dripping coolant the day I sold it. I had previously overhauled the whole system and didn't have a single drop on the ground until I parked in the meeting spot to sell it. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk Re: Project: Battleship Cruiser - Dave - 12-27-2013 One of my SE-R's started leaking fuel randomly when I went to meet the guy to sell it. Like, it had made a small pool after sitting for a half hour; guy passed on it as a result. By the time I got it home 5 minutes from where we met, I couldn't even tell where the leak was coming from. Literally never leaked again, and had never leaked prior to that day either. Sonuvabish! |
