That shit does wonders! Oh yeah, +1 on "Fuck Carpet" Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-27-2013 There is wide plank GA pine on the first floor, I can imagine the cost to do that to the rest of the house lol. At some point the rest of the carpet will go, buy its going to be $$$$ Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - navin - 01-27-2013 www.builddirect.com -- semi-solid reviews online for their flooring, I'm eye'n some of the engineered stuff myself. Just wish the a-holes carried the stairnose molding and other moldings. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Evan - 01-28-2013 congrats kaan! place looks great! ive got a 6' a frame if you still need it. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-29-2013 i'm pretty busy between now and official move in so i'm going to end up doing the ceiling and upper walls just after move in. i need to lock in the moving truck and borrow a friends van to transport all the motorcycles. Oh Yeah, I recruited you some help Kaan. Jake and Cabell are coming to Waynesboro to run the Mad Anthony Mud run with Rex the day you move, so as soon as the boys are done, we'll come back to our house, everyone showered, and we'll be on our way to help unload and stuff. So it'll probably be around 12 before we get there, but I don't see that as a problem, since unloading is usually the harder part. Running through mud and obstacles with Rex and Cabell, and then moving Heavy Things for Kaan? This might be one of the manliest days of my life. You'll sweat pure testosterone. "I AM ALL THAT IS MAN!!!" P.S. We'll be "18-year-old-girls-at-their-first-frat-party-lightweights" so we should probably keep the victory beers to Juan. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - CaptainHenreh - 01-29-2013 We'll be here... Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Jeff - 01-30-2013 Looks great! Congrats! Congrats! thanks! i'm sure there will be lots of little projects but when we break ground on the 3 car garage i'll be posting more. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Jeff - 01-31-2013 When do you plan to start on that? Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - premiershine9 - 01-31-2013 tuned in here for the garage
Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-31-2013 the "idea" has been approved by the HOA... but they say it still needs to comply to the rule of "complete in 9 months", "match the house", etc it will be 18 months or so before i can honestly think about breaking ground. also depends on if we want to finance it or pay cash. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Jeff - 01-31-2013 bawlers Was talking just yesterday with one of our HOA's officers. They are getting ready to sue another homeowner over some dumbass metal building he put in his backyard for his mowers and stuff. He won't make it match the house so they are taking his ass to court. Fuck HOA's. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-31-2013 well for us it means the 3 car garage has to go all baller... brick and cedar lol we are talking about a 20x60ish building with 10 foot ceilings. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - D_Eclipse9916 - 01-31-2013 Kaan Wrote:well for us it means the 3 car garage has to go all baller... brick and cedar lol Why only 10 foot ceilings? That will severely limit any type of lift you want. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-31-2013 if i get into the 15 foot height... the cost of the brick and cedar is going to kill the whole project. SO... the thought so far is to use the removealbe lift. http://www.maxjaxusa.com/faqs/common-concerns.html |
