Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - CaptainHenreh - 02-10-2011 I know the guy from Gunblast has never met a gun he didn't like, but: http://www.gunblast.com/SIG-P238.htm the P238 is basically a 21st century Colt Mustang. I oogled one at the local funshop yesterday and they seem pretty nice... Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - CaptainHenreh - 02-11-2011 A halfway decent reason to watch Top Shot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDZyGI9ZeuE Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Jeff - 02-16-2011 Picked up a Kel-Tec PF-9 this past week. The smallest and thinnest 9mm made. I love this thing. Carry it all the time and it is easy to hide. I have not made it to the range yet (yeah yeah I know I should not 'bet my life' on a gun I have not shot, kiss my sack.) But I will give a range report once I do.
Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 02-16-2011 Looks good Jeff. If you don't mind my asking, what did you give for it? Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Jeff - 02-16-2011 Why do you bother to ask? You are probably going to buy it from me for $55 in a year or two and sell it to some other dumbass for $500. mooch: $249 with the case and one mag. The only other accessory is an optional finger groove magazine base that I am not using.
Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Evan - 02-16-2011 was that used or new? waiting for your impressions but it looks to be exactly what Im shopping for Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Kaan - 02-16-2011 Evan Wrote:was that used or new? waiting for your impressions but it looks to be exactly what Im shopping formore guns in the house?!?!?! Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - V1GiLaNtE - 02-16-2011 Wow I was just considering this gun.. Looking forward to your report Jeff! Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Kaan - 02-16-2011 oh yeah... the one i offende just walking into the room... I just didnt think Mrs. Evan was down with them either. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Evan - 02-16-2011 Mrs Evan isnt going to the range anytime soon, but aside from saftey concerns I think she kind of likes having that level of protection in the house. and the first thing she did when I handed her my XDM was pull the trigger :? (just like JayRay )

Remind me to never hand people guns. Ever. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Jeff - 02-17-2011 That was a new price on the PF-9. MSRP is $333 I think. I am sure you can get your local gun store down near $249 but if not the fellow up at D&H Guns here in Woodstock is a really nice guy and he could get one in for you at that price. I wanted the black on black but they said they had so many orders they were just shipping what they had so I got black over gray and I like the look of it. I have had so much stuff going on with the project car that I have not had time to get to the range with it. Anne really wants to take it out and shoot it because it will be her piece if she likes it. If she takes it from me I might have to get another! Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - V1GiLaNtE - 02-17-2011 Hmm... might have to make a trip to Ashby Arms here in the near future.. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - V1GiLaNtE - 02-17-2011 BTW Jeff may I inquire as to what holster you're using/carry position for the Kel-tec? Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 02-17-2011 Goin to the gun show in Charlotte this Saturday! YEE HAW! Gonna look at guns to defend my home when the joint Chinese - Iranian deathsquad army invades the country. WRXtranceformed Wrote:Goin to the gun show in Charlotte this Saturday! YEE HAW! Gonna look at guns to defend my home when the joint Chinese - Iranian deathsquad army invades the country. What are you looking for, Lee? I highly recommend a 5.56 carbine for home defense.
Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 02-17-2011 CaptainHenreh Wrote:I live in a townhouse, so I was recommended some kind of handgun for mobility and to ensure I'm not shooting through my neighbor's walls. 9mm up to .38 caliber. Sound about right?V1GiLaNtE Wrote:BTW Jeff may I inquire as to what holster you're using/carry position for the Kel-tec?Pretty sure he's pocket carrying. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Evan - 02-17-2011 WRXtranceformed Wrote:ensure I'm not shooting through my neighbor's walls.uh oh, dont get Rex started! and FWIW, a coworkers drunk mom accidentally fired his Berretta in her house. Bullet went though a bed/mattress/boxspring, carpet/floorboards/ceiling, then through a wall downstairs and out into their garage bouncing around some more. so dont assume even a 9mm wont go through walls |
