If it makes you feel any better...once you prestige, you lose everything including your credits. The only thing that remains are your K/D ratio, career kills, etc. So basically you have to look for another turret all over again...

So it seems like everyone has had their fill of Black Ops, but I still love it. I play 2-3x/week and have started to move into other game types to mix things up. Deathmatch was getting old, but Domination and Headquarters have made it interesting again. There's definitely a lot more action in those game types and getting 20 or 30 kills (good for me) isn't uncommon.
I just tried out Combat Training this past weekend. I thought it was mission based, like beat waves of bots, but it's just online play with bots. Setting that bitch on Free-For-All in Nuketown makes me feel good about myself when I'm sick of getting my ass kicked by humans. Killstreaks galore... can't imagine being that good in multiplayer.
I'm also about 85% of the way through the campaign and it's much better than MW2.

I haven't had my fill... I'll be back. I did max my level so it has lost some lustre, but I've been busy... Maybe I'll prestige?
I also need to finish the campaign. And maybe whatever the new spec ops are called.

Spec Ops is gone. The only co-op that isn't the Combat Training (identical to multiplayer) is the Zombies game. I think the closest you could get with normal gameplay is to do something like Deathmatch of two humans versus another team of bots.
You're behind the curve on Prestige, I've already seen people up at 9. :lol:

I'm kind of over Black Ops right now too. I hit 50, prestiged, and just left it sitting at Prestige 1 level 1. It's a fun game but I really have bad ADD when it comes to games and when I get a new one I just want to keep playing it until I beat it. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood has taken up most of my gaming time lately...wow, what a phenomenal game!! As soon as I get done with ACB and maybe get a little further in Fallout NV I'll probably hop back on COD again.

That pretty much describes me. I used to buy a lot, but realized I ended up playing a game for a few weeks and moving on. The "buy a shit-ton less and really focus on it" method suits me much more.

I am still obsessed with AC:Brotherhood btw. I have this weird thing with games like that where I have to do all the side quests in the game before I go and beat it. Which is why it's so hard for me to play Fallout because there are a million side things you can do. Anyway I finally got the Armor of Brutus and Brutus' Dagger (both are a long quest) and they are badass. So maybe I'll just go ahead and finish the game

I probably will to tide me over until the next Gears game. Just hit 2nd prestige 50 last night, which isn't much now compared to most people on that game....I think my K/D ratio is still around 1.48 though

That's pretty much what I was thinking, but Gears3 just got pushed back to fall.
I've been toying with getting Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but I have a feeling I'm going to get bored with that quick. I have a couple cheesy DLC games I could play, but those hold my attention for like 12 minutes at a time.
