tailgating was all that was good.

eggs and bacon and english muffins when they let us in at 9 and brats and burgers at 12

- Hunter - 12-01-2008

Yea I was there from about 9:30 in the morning tailgating. Food was great and a little wet while I was drunk and a little wet (actually soaking, we didn't have a tent).

Our old as dirt O-line is wearing down due to their age and looks like a completely different group from beginning of the season, but I guess that should be expected when the youngest guy on the line is 31.

Remember Skins released Frost, and he signed with the Packers. They subsequently released him this week. FWIW.

FWIW, I think the Cowboys will end up at 10-6 and miss the playoffs too.

Still on pace...

still... yep, not a good team.

- stevegula - 12-08-2008

I lost my fantasy football $ league because Cooley couldn't bring in 21 yards last night.

- Evan - 12-08-2008

at this point I think even calling them mediocre is a stretch.

I predict they struggle with cincy this week

+1

They have struggled with every team. It's easy to look back and say it now but I really felt like the Rams game was going to be the typical Washington (all teams seemingly) game. After two wins against better teams, instead of proving themselves, they faulter and never recover.

- Mike - 12-08-2008

had a friend who wasn't a skins fan over to watch the game last night... learned that skins fans aren't the only ones who find the plight of our team (over the past 10 years or so) to be a source of great humor/pain.

Especially with Samuels now hurt. He's been getting beat in the last couple weeks, but it's been by the top few DE's in the league.

Then again, oline has been a disaster in recent weeks and maybe a little young blood will help, I'd like to see what Rinehart can do. With Samuels and Jansen out maybe we'll see some guys who aren't running on fumes and getting beat every other play.

- .paul - 12-08-2008

how about campbell saying people shouldnt blame him :?:

i KNOW it is not all his fault, but like every GREAT quarterback, they take the blame, as they are the team leaders.

Collins in, let brennan learn for a few years.

- Evan - 12-08-2008

watching the press conference, Zorn reminds me an awful lot of Norv

and yeah, Ive never been a Campbell fan. He is just another dead end Redskins QB. I was hoping I was wrong in the beginning of the season but I dont think thats the case.

Already down 17-0 to the lowly Bengals Sad

- Mike - 12-14-2008

starting to look better. holy shit though, that first 22 minutes was the worst i've ever seen.

- Evan - 12-14-2008

pathetic.

btw, who is the new DB? Green I think it was? (no not that green Sad ) What happened to Hall?
edit: looks like he is Horton's backup. I guess they fired Reed Doughty? :?

- John - 12-14-2008

Wow - I had to watch with a good friend from Cincy who is probably the only Bengals fan in SD... that was miserable. Redskins reap what they deserve...

- Mike - 12-14-2008

sadly, i knew they were going to lose. they're looking that bad.

Doughty went on IR in October with a spine issue and they signed green who used to play in Blache's defense in Chicago.

And about the game... wow. I knew the skins look bad recently, but it was against some of the best teams in the league. Now that they lost to the bengals I really don't know what to say. It looks like Zorn has completely lost this team and knowing Dan Snyder, I don't know if he makes it till next year.

Bill Cowher what?

- stevegula - 12-15-2008

Saturday night I admitted to a friend I expected the Skins to lose. I was really hoping I was wrong though. As a coworker said, "they're showing their true colors."

I don't think you'll ever see Doughty start anywhere at safety again. He wasn't that great and his spine injury was in the best interest of the Washington D. Doughty underperformed, in my ever so humble opinion.

Zorn and Bugel may both be looking for jobs at the end of the season.
