I forget where I saw the video, but when he came back his technical abilities and understanding of technologies was challenged. His response was basically that the existing technology doesn't matter, the way forward is to design the user experience and then develop the technology to make it work. It worked.

I'd rather get Chris cobetto or someone to come out. Honestly, I would sit and listen to him talk about heel toe downshifting for hours.
There's been a lot of talk of celeb athletes and stuff coming out but I just don't think its worth the trouble especially if it costs us anything.

Cobetto, Felton, DJ, RJ, Evan, Chris, all Racing Past/present or just have Rex come in and make your mind explode when talking about a rotary engine, or any car for that matter.
I remember one time Dr. Thomas came in did a talk on just simple stuff, like what is an Apex, Racing line etc etc.
Get Ray Schumin, or any experienced autocrosser to come in and talk about AutoX and what it is.

I already annouced at teh first meeting that we want to get Dr. T in when G-force time rolls around becasue his break down of the track is what I owe all my speed to today.
Ray said he would come in and talk, I think that will be in the spring though.

and that was a pretty awesome learning experience for me. I think Rex was working last meeting but he knows he is welcome to come talk whenever he wants and if he didn't he does now. I don't want to leave anyone out but I know I will.
I'm sure Kaan could fill several meetings with info that would entertain the hell out of any Gear heads/ Race car wannabes like me. Idk if our members want to actually learn about motorsports but I know I do. That's one of my favorite parts of this club. The learning that takes place in just the everyday club BS'n we do at track events or social events.
Honestly, we don't even need to leave MM to find people to come talk. We could fill 3 years worth of meetings with how much knowledge resides in this club.

watching Australian V8 Supercars today, and during a pit stop I saw the pitcrew for the Vodafone car, and their bad ass pit helmets. The F1 crew uses them to, look crazy, like some shit out of Halo.

It's Friday, and I don't have papers to grade this weekend, so I'm thinking about heading down to Richmond for some karting this evening. (I went a couple of weeks ago. This new track layout is fun and fast!)
