It's called the Hook-Factor, ET x MPH with theoretical perfection at 1320. Over 1320, ET was left on the table (you spun). Under 1320, gearing problem (hit rev limiter, car nosed over, etc) before finish line.
In order of finish:

GTR: 1355
458: 1412
R8:1438
MB: 1450
LFA: 1472
Z06: 1458
GT3: 1436
BOSS: 1426
Gayman: 1409
M1 : 1408
ICE powered Tesla: 1417

The trend is interesting, obviously with AWD and launch control, the GTR uses its power very well. As the cars come across the line, they seem to do so in order of how well they used their power, as power levels drop off, the drivers got "better" at getting everything out of the car.

The cars with the highest torque rating, Zed06 and MB, had two of the highest (worst) hook-factors. The LFA driver really sucked too...or it's under-geared maybe. For comparison the top street tire Z06 timeslips have a H-F of about 1405.

:?: Interesting consider the GTR had all the press about the failures, yet none about the ZR1. Did I also mention how the Z06 is an insanely awesome track car that shits on the GT-R in terms of reliability both on and off the track.

Dont get me wrong; the GT-R is balls as fast, but AWD, computeres, twin turbos, heavy does NOT equal reliable. There is a reason people flock to the C5 and C6 z06 as great track cars, yet where do you see all the 300zx twin turbos, 3000GT VR4s, Supra Twin Turbos? Rare, and even rarer to see them all weekend running.

If I didnt have to pay for the car and consumables? Yeah the GT-R over the Z06 in terms of speed, but if we are playing that game, id MUCH rather have the Ferrari 458.

I would have to agree with you Dj, ignoring what these cars did or didn't do, I would probably take the 458 (even if all the switches are on the steering wheel) becasue it just looks orgasmic. If someone was just giving me one of these cars, I would probably go with this order:
458
1M or GT-R (the R34 is one of my all time favorites so I could do an R35 I guess)
LFA(so I could sell it and buy all the other cars I wanted)
and then the rest in whatever order minus the BOSS and the Lotus and the last place car.

Apparently the GTR race car has had tons of race wins with nothing mechanical going wrong. They have done a lot since they introduced the R35. I mean a gear box that advanced takes time to works quirks out i guess. I would rather have the 458 Italia hands down. But a Zr1 vs a GTR, I would choose the GTR.

Yessir, not really a porche fan although I would definatley drive a GT3RS and not complain. Not really an Audi fan either but would also definatley take the R8GT. Really not a corvette fan but wouldn't mind a Z06 or possibly a ZR1. That 1M just looks too damn cool though. In the crazy world where someone hands me the keys to any of those cars to keep, I would kick myself in the ass for not taking the 458 though. If I got 3 choices, I would probably spend till the next generation of each car releases deciding which other ones to take.

Id probably get the Porsche GT3 RS, Ferrari 458, and then probably the Z06.

Dunno why the 1M and Cayman were even in that fight; seriously outclassed. BMW doesnt have anything on this level currently.
