Plus Juan. I am in Houston and I can't even get the Saints Chargers game from London no less. Too close to Reliant stadium, damnit.

Is that London, England?

I hate to think that they really are dependent on Romo.

They're dependent on Romo to mask their problems. There seems to be a distinct lack of emotion in their playing and I'd put the blame on Philips. They're something like 5-7 in their last 12 and I think that's basically the Parcell's effect wearing off. They've had a shit ton of injuries and Romo coming back means they'll win more games, but I expect them to miss the playoffs and Philips to "retire".

Philips last night looked absolutely pathetic on the sidelines. It was depressing when they put the camera on him. He looked like a fat kid in a candy shop not knowing where to go. The defense looked to just give up the last quarter, not even trying to tackle.

Hope when Romo returns, it brings some spark back to them.

Campbell is looking like 2007 Campbell

Maybe they can one up the monday night game in Dallas from three years ago?

- Mike - 11-04-2008

at least it means obama will win.

or maybe obama was already going to win so the redskins had already lost? damn. deep.

I had thought about that today, the presidential polls showed that the redskins probably weren't going to win.

...at least we won't have to see those burgundy on burgundy jerseys again.

Its starting to look like my original 8-8 prediction may turn out to be accurate. Maybe 9-7.

We still have three games against pretty terrible teams (Seattle, Cinci, and SF) and then 3 division home games on top of that. I think 11-5 or 10-6 is very achievable.

riggins said it best, this game showed that we are not an elite team, just one of the good teams.

if anybody thought otherwise, they ought to be shot. we have yet to convincingly win a single game.

- .paul - 11-04-2008

whole heartily agree. winning by single digits doesn't cut it for me.

- Hunter - 11-04-2008

They aren't an elite team, but you can't say they aren't a good team, even after last night. The team has been playing for 14 straight weeks, due to their 5 preseason games, and they just look exhausted. Hopefully they get rested and healthy during the bye and step in the second half.

It really did show how important Moss is to the offense, if he goes down this team is screwed. Samuels too, everything is completely different when he's not healthy.

- Evan - 11-09-2008

so D'Angelo Hall.... good pickup or not?

He used to be good, but he has gotten burned like nobody else this season. No other teams were really that interested in him aside from filling in for the rest of the season and that speaks volumes. I guess we will just have to see.
They released Leigh Torrence to sign him, Ive never been a fan of Torrence but he has played pretty good in nickel and dime defenses this year instead of on a corner where he got burned a lot last year. I am surprised they didnt release the rookie Tyron instead.

- DavidM - 11-10-2008

I think for what were paying Hall isn't a bad pickup (time will tell if it was a good pickup). While I don't disagree that he's been fairly weak this year he has been a good corner in the past. The Raiders have been just awful all year and the lack of anything resembling a defense around him certainly hasn't helped. I think coming home, playing as a nickle back and the fact that its a contract year all point to him playing better.
