Heard this on the radio this AM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAqrE68FUB0

Anything that samples Full Metal Jacket is a winner in my book.

Re: Trance lovers: Listen now! - ScottyB - 04-11-2011

i usually won't listen to anything with "boyz noize" in the title out of principle, but i'm a long time chemical bros. fan and this beat sounded awesome to me

Re: Trance lovers: Listen now! - Seantn1k - 04-11-2011

Has anyone taken a look at the two albums tossed about for Tron? The initial album was created solely by Daft Punk and the follow up was a remix of the initial stuff.

^ Oh how I love German techno. That's clearly from a movie... and I want to see it.

Camera movement sucks though.

The visuals in Deadmau5's performances that night were crazy from the other vids I saw.

Re: Trance lovers: Listen now! - Evan - 04-28-2011

been listening to some dubstep lately. its real hit or miss so I cant just listen for hours like I can trance, but the hits are really really addictive

Re: Trance lovers: Listen now! - Seantn1k - 05-10-2011

Hey guys, have you heard of POGO? It's a site that puts out some crazy remixes. Namely of Disney Movies but if you can look beyond that you'll find some interesting beats.

Snow White brings the beat back..

Re: Trance lovers: Listen now! - WRXtranceformed - 05-18-2011

What a great song. I still love listening to that song...like on a long drive and you're coming up to the beach or something. EPIC! Why don't they make electronic music like that anymore?? Sad It's all this like industrial dubstep BS, Skrillex, hybrid Deadmau5 shit.

Re: Trance lovers: Listen now! - ScottyB - 05-18-2011

i know it....everything feels less emotional now. i guess industrial is the right word as you said. i can appreciate some of the new stuff, but its more as background music and not making me want to stop what i'm doing just to listen to all the beautiful details and meshing of everything.

i think the high water mark was mid 90's to mid 00's, personally

Everyone thinks the music made during that time of your life is the best. It's the reason why I love Sirius' 90s and Backspin stations. Welcome to getting older.

Speaking of nostalgia, I heard this today: http://youtu.be/NdghZVWxXx8

The song isn't that good, but I still liked it for the "damn that takes me back" factor.

no, i get the nostalgia thing, but i just don't feel the way i do about some of the more recent stuff because i just don't like it as much. its not like i don't expect it honestly...genres change over time.

thanks for the zelda memories. instantly made me think of this classic one too

...and the genre people generally like the most is that from ages 15-25. Big Grin

Yep. Probably the third time I've posted this video but I just DON'T CARE! Very much along the lines of Halcyon & On & On.
