Well the car made it a few hundred miles on a weekend road trip to charlottesville and some furniture shopping in MD and ran fine and no issues and the KW ride quality is still pretty outstanding. Shouldnt be noteworthy but....

Its posted for sale on e90 forums & FB, but I need to get it cleaned up so I can take more photos. 2019 VW's are starting to pop up on dealer lots. I need less excitement in my life.

I hate having something that I worry is going to leave my wife stranded halfway to Richmond with the dog or her nephew or some shit. But you are right, I should make whatever goat sacrifice required to exorcise this bad luck from my life first.

^^^ Specialized vehicles for specialized needs. Trying to combine sporty + reliable + cool to own is typically losing out on all of them. I do think a mustang with about $5k into suspension/exhaust/tune would be a riot. GT350s just are not depreciating; which makes the price of admission for that lovely soundtrack stupid compared to a 2 year old GT.

I accept the error of my fool's errand. I'm not even sure I need all of that, probably just a nice exhaust that doesnt drone will be fine. BRB, taking out pedestrians.
