It's already got a roll cage because Racecar. I wonder how much power the motor makes and how the drivegear works. Swap a 1400cc zx motor in there and go racing (with a sequential gearbox)!

Looks like electric turbos are on the way. It will be interesting to see how well these perform. No turbo lag + a quarter second to reach full boost sounds pretty sweet.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around this car. When a car company makes a performance version of one of their vehicles with a huge engine, tons of power as a car guy there is the obvious side of my brain that is says "this is seriously the best thing since BBQ ribs were invented". And I got it with the Challenger, because it was a muscle car throwback that has the looks and purpose to handle that engine. But in this case there is another side of my brain that says "no but really, what the heck?" I don't know what it is, maybe because I have had to jump my buddy's V6 Charger multiple times I don't know. Adding a high-end drivetrain and suspension to a rental / mid range commuter / police car I guess doesn't really add up. They will sell every single one of these things but they almost entirely won't be to people who are cross shopping cars with that kind of performance. I think what I am trying to say is it would take a very special person to buy a 707 horsepower Charger
Putting that drivetrain in a Ram truck and calling it a new version of the SRT-10, in a weird way, would make more sense than having it in this car.
