Is Toothbrush like the Kidz Bop version of Milkshake?

Kinda?

She gets mad because I dont' want her to sing along to a song about a dude sayin "Ayyy gurl, don't bother putting your clothes back on just climb back into this bed cuz you've got a toothbrush here."

A couple weeks ago I returned to the great place known as Rochester for additional training at our corporate office. About 50 people in my class so they hook us up with about 10-12 rental cars so we can get to the office and dinner and whatever else you can find to do in Rochester (read: nothing if the weather isn't perfect).

Usually it's Caravans or whatever the new little Ford van is. Got up to the Enterprise counter and was asked how many people we had with us - 5. Well shit we are out of minivans so take this paper outside to the office and they will give you something with a 3rd row. Walk outside to a brand new 2016 fully loaded Navigator. This will do nicely for the week.

I was genuinely surprised because it was pretty nice. First stop was the gas pedal - had the eco boost v6 and this thing hustled! I can see why Rex enjoys driving his submarine on wheels. Creature comforts were great too. Bind spot monitoring, heated/cooled front seats, heated rear, massive sunroof, remote start, etc.

The motor was great but as with all American vehicles the steering is just awful. Had to turn the wheel approximately 32 times to full lock, and I could fling the wheel back and forth on the highway without changing direction of the vehicle.

All in all it was a fantastic rental for us for a week but that's about it. 14 mpg city and highway and starting at $65k I would look at many other vehicles before I ever thought about this Lincoln.

These (and Expeditions, Suburbans, Tahoes, Sequoias, whatever that awful Nissan is) are perfect for families that want to haul their three kids and the boat all at once (or racecar as you prefer). Beyond that, a minivan will do ultimate people-hauling better and a large crossover like the Flex or Traverse or GLE or whatever other bland flavor of the week will do fine if you can't be seen in a Pacifica.

It's a niche market but the BOF SUVs are perfect if you need what they can do. Otherwise, I agree, they're not aimed at many.

Wifey pulls up to the Enterprise: "Ooooooh! A Mustang! Maybe you'll get a Mustang this time honey!"

Definitely not a Mustang. Going to be a long drive to Raleigh and back tomorrow.

 i can't think of a car less suited to everything that is your personality and desires than that plastic dustbuster of sadness

so someone booped Mrs.B's Xterra and its in the shop getting a new bumper + fender. we are currently living the high life in this concentrated ingot of sexual fantasy:

[Image: 2016_toyota_corolla_l_white_in_victoria_...673429.jpg]

a couple things:
(A) wow, i guess when your youngest car is 12 years old you forget how much kit even a rental-spec turd comes with. HID, backup camera, bluetoofs, touchscreen...i'm sort of impressed. shit, i've been living like a savage!
(B) it is exactly what a toyota corolla should be, which is firstly a car, and then the most unoffensive flavor of vanilla possible. it is completely transparent. its nice looking enough that i think, hey, that car is modern and looks like it wasn't the cheapest thing someone could buy. then i turn around, get distracted by perhaps a small animal or burrito, and in that space of time i've forgotten that i've looked at it
© in news that should surprise nobody, its big now. like, far bigger inside than i expected and had plenty of room for a car seat in the back with the front seat not squished forward. totally passable as a car for a small family.

the steering is pretty overboosted and the brakes are ridiculously grabby. throttle tip-in is definitely pulling from the Chrysler playbook of "aggressive" and makes the car feel like it has 50 more hp than it actually does. it smells like the ass-cushion of a seat on a well-traveled Delta airliner and the seats are flat as a freaking board. shifter feels like it was stolen off of an arcade. 27k brutal miles, far from its California home.

5/10 if you put gas into a hole in the side it will transport you to other locations.

LOL, top shelf review there Scotty. Looking at that pic, it really stood out to me how tall and slab sided cars are now.

Re: Rental Car Ruckus 2: Electric Boogaloo - JPolen01 - 01-26-2017

Is that rental car tinted out or is it just the angle of the photo?

that's not ours, just a pic i stole of the exact same color/model. we're not cool enough to get any tint.

Re: Rental Car Ruckus 2: Electric Boogaloo - WRXtranceformed - 01-26-2017

Lol Scott!

The Versa has less than an 11 gal tank. What the hell? I filled it up when the gauge started blinking at me and I thought it shut off early when the pump read 8.something gallons

The Honda fit is the same if not like an 11 gallon tank. It's freaking amazing. When gas was like 1.80 or however low it was, like $10 filled Dave's tank in the fit. Fucking. Amazing.

Re: Rental Car Ruckus 2: Electric Boogaloo - WRXtranceformed - 01-27-2017

Yeah but i'm still having to fill up at the same frequency, it's just cheaper to do it. Why not just double the tank size so you could drive for twice as long and fill up at a normal price like everyone else? I drove to Raleigh and back at about 40mpg but had to fill up / top off at a station twice before I returned it...

Who cares? Saving money either way. I wanna see them fit a 16 gallon tank under a fit and recreate the Pinto. Haha

Exactly, that's why it's got a tiny tank. 2seconds and whabam. Full

Re: Rental Car Ruckus 2: Electric Boogaloo - Sully - 03-27-2017

Not really sure where else to post this but wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on the new Maxima's. My dad's friend is lending him one for like a month. It's a loaded Platinum package that the guy has some bolt on stuff on. Intake and exhaust I think and some aero stuff. I kind of like the car but at the same time, I feel like there are much better options for the segment. But it is pretty plush and the looks aren't terrible with the things he's done to it. Not sure what he did to suspension or if its just the wheel/tire setup but it rubs alot when reversing and pretty harsh on bumps.

I don't know much about the car but I'm sure I'll get to drive it a few times in the next month. Anyone know anything cool or wrong with them?
