I iz edukated, so take ur inturnetz grammur an go to hell Re: Good Eats - CaptainHenreh - 10-26-2011 Yeah, if you "don't like" el charro, then you "don't like" good mexican food. Simple as that. El Charro is fucking awesome. Re: Good Eats - Mike - 10-26-2011 rex said "your opinion is wrong." i love when people say that. Re: Good Eats - Ken - 10-26-2011 meh. it's alright. Re: Good Eats - JustinG - 10-26-2011 Ken Wrote:meh. it's alright. WTF has happened to these students!!!!! Re: Good Eats - V1GiLaNtE - 10-26-2011 ^^Nothing... Fajita Burrito at El Charro is still one of the best damn things ever. Recently discovered the Taco truck.. My god.. 2 spicy pork tacos and a chorizo burrito for $6.50?? Some of the best chinese food is the one way down southmain near the goodwill. Union station is pretty damn good. Get the cannonbal burger.. A deep friend burger.. and then get Jefferson reserve float.. Jefferson Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout and ice cream.. God damn skeet skeet Re: Good Eats - Cody - 10-26-2011 Around the burg I've heard soo many people talk about Taste of Thai but have yet to go there. If you're ever in the VA Beach area definitely make a side excursion to go to Taste Unlimited http://www.tasteunlimited.com/ Holy sh!t, this place is amazing. Such good sandwiches, specialty sauces/ seasonings/ sodas/ beers, everything is delicious. Re: Good Eats - G.Irish - 10-26-2011 Jake Wrote:This. Jalisco's is pretty damned good, I would take that over El Charro any day.Evan Wrote:Jalisco's is great, better than Charro's IMO. Re: Good Eats - Mike - 10-26-2011 taste of thai is excellent, and i am an authority on thai food. Re: Good Eats - Evan - 10-26-2011 a coworkers sister owns taste of thai (and the place in the old spankys building) cool story bro ps- how does harrisonburg have better food than nova? :dunno: Re: Good Eats - Ryan T - 10-26-2011 Never cared much for taste of thai. I always thought El Charro was much better than Jalisco's. Pano's down near exit 243 was good. We used to order from Little Italy, across from Wendy's on South Main. Best pizza in harrisonburg in my opinion. Jeff and I used to frequent the truck stop a lot too, pretty good food. The chinese buffet on south main down near city motors is also delicious and cheap at lunch. Re: Good Eats - HAULN-SS - 10-26-2011 I cant remember the exact name, but there was an ethiopian restaurant (i know, right?) in HBurg called Blue..something or other. It was actually really good the couple of times I went there. You'll just want to make sure you go with people you like and think are reasonable clean, since you are pretty much all just sharing one big finger food plate. Blue Nile, never ate there but heard good things. Re: Good Eats - V1GiLaNtE - 10-26-2011 ^ Killer Sunday drink specials.. $1 mimosas and bloodymary's all day Sunday.. Ask me how I know...   Best Philly Cheesteaks in town(I'm a self proclaimed expert) Toss up between Ciros(on 33 by Sheetz across from Mid-Atlantic) and Tutti Gusti. Get the supreme from both places and then add bannana peppers from Ciros.. om nom nom nom Re: Good Eats - JustinG - 10-26-2011 Franco's, next to qudoba....lots of dericious foods. Re: Good Eats - Ken - 10-26-2011 Best pizza in Harrisonburg is either Franco's (although it has gone down in quality lately) or Anthony's Italian Touch. As a native New Yorker, I am an authority on pizza. *on a related note, there are NO good bagels in Harrisonburg. Jays sucks. Yeah i said it, deal with it.* Re: Good Eats - SlimKlim - 10-26-2011 Ken Wrote:Best pizza in Harrisonburg is either Franco's (although it has gone down in quality lately) or Anthony's Italian Touch.
