I think its a 3.0L Mitsu V6 with the 3.5L intake and engine cover on it. I don't think its a 3.5L engine. Might even be the 2.5L V6. They were all the same, based off the original 3.0L

some (and by some I mean very few) miata guys have put a 2.0L Kia Sportage engine in their miata because it turns out its mazda engine very similar to the miata bp6.

i think the koreans started building their own engines only relatively recently.

And let's not forget the Hyundai 4G63:

The 1.8/2.0/2.5 World engine is shared between Chrysler, Kia, and Hyundai...There has been a lot of engine sharing for a long time. Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Chrysler have all used variations of the 2.5,3.0,3.5L engine.

That seems like a lot for that Viper...

- Jeff - 06-03-2009

Nope. About right for a 01' Viper. I was looking at Vipers hard before I decided it might be a good idea to own a house first.

- Evan - 06-03-2009

ive seen plenty of guys trying to sell early 90s R/Ts in the 30s, so an 01 GTS for 35 seems like a pretty good deal. probably would have given me pause if it was around when i bought my lotus.

viper doesnt look too good in yellow though

- Jeff - 06-03-2009

Fuck that. early R/Ts didn't have real windows.
