Thanks everyone! I'm very excited about it but I've been so busy talking/emailing/texting tons of my family about it.

As for how I did it, we had dinner Sat night and then went for a walk around the Lawn at UVA. I stopped her in front of the Rotunda and got down on one knee (in the rain) and asked her. To be honest, I was so nervous (even though I knew she was gonna say yes) that I don't really know what I said. She did say yes and started crying. Some might even say she started "bawlin'". Then we spent the next 45 minutes or so calling parents and siblings with the good news.

As for the race car wedding, while it'd be awesome, I dont think she'd be up for it.
