I will be working grid, can I maybe get a ride with someone to and from the track from the hotels? I am pretty sure ill be able to get a ride there, just not when we have to be there so early for the workers.

on the bright side, it gives me plenty of prep time with nice weather. the car could hit the track today, but there's always that small handful of things that aren't fun to do that keep on getting put off (flush brake fluid, change oil, replace slave cylinder, etc).
