According to the official spec sheets the car is ~200 pounds lighter than the 3 series. They definately dont weigh the same.

the 128 weighs 3250 and the 135 weighs 3370

also, supposedly bmw uses "unladen weight" which includes driver weight, which is not included in the more commonly used curb weight, so those numbers may be lower by about 150 pounds or so.

Im willing to bet the tii comes in at around 3000


Nov 16th is the rumored pricing announcement. Seems a little early to me but we will see.

this is major, all the guesstimates have been in the 35k-36k range for the 135, 30k or a hair under for the 128. if they get the 135 out the door for 30k? holy crap my pants.
