the world is my accountability partner.
obviously "sleeping with buddhist monks" wouldn't have been on my list before I did it, but since I did, I feel it's worth noting so I added it to my done list... it was a seriously cool side effect of accomplishing another goal (visiting japan).

I don't like to look at my life that way. I have the specific goals of being successful and to have money not be an issue in my life, as well as typical stuff like owning a nice house someday and a nice car(s). That's about it though really. I don't like to break down my life like that, because it changes so often. My needs, desires, and goals have changed so much since I was a teenager, and I imagine they'll change quite a bit more from 25-30 and beyond.
I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm spontaneous, but I think I look at life and my life's goals as something dynamic ... the best things tend to just creep up on me and I take them as they come =)

As a musician, I played for a president and in the macy's parade, which are both accomplisments but Im not sure if I could list them in this context of the life list because it wasnt something that got me out of bed in the morning before I did it.
but in retrospect, of course Im very glad I did and consider them noteworthy.

but where do you draw the line? if i hadn't visited alcatraz as a kid, it'd likely be on my list now. if i hadn't already ridden a motorcycle, it'd likely be on my list now.
so yes, the goals that i have already accomplished are more accomplishment than attained goals since at the time they were not goals... BUT does that mean i can't ever put them on the list? for the sake of making myself look cool, i added them.

By specific you mean not specific at all? Everyone has those goals, way to be status quo. If the things you want to do change, then... OMG.... change the list!
Evan has a point and that's where Mike and I diverge. I don't have anything on my list that I didn't know I wanted to do until I did it. IMO it just becomes a "cool things I've done" list and that's not the point... for me.
