The level reflects the volume of business another business does with Advance. Now, this is what the people at the Woodstock store have told me...I may be wrong. The Garage is level 2 because we do do much business with them and level two only saves on things like brakes and suspension parts. I've saves $40 on axels befor, so level 2 only works for big stuff. DJ can correct me if I am wrong, but thats what I understood it to mean. So if we have a Level 4 account that is like a business who uses AAP as their sole supplier, and buys a lot of shit.

its perfectly legal, the only thing that would make it illegal is if we had them say we were tax exempt which is not the case

It is not legal for YOU, a consumer, to purchase PERSONAL items on a Tax Exempt account for YOUR use. My dad has a tax exempt number for his business, however if he's using it to buy things that he plans on using himself he must pax tax at the time of sale.
The club is tax exempt b/c it is a non-profit org and any money collected does not need to be considered 'income' and therefore no year-end taxes are paid by MM, even though they collect money in the form of dues/donations/etc.

the AA account in h-burg is not tax exempt, we would have to have a business/nonprofit licenseor ID whatever you wanna call it and a tax ID to be tax exempt, and like chad said we would only be able to legally make purchases for the club, not for each individual.

so, what's the level of the store in the burg and which store is it?
If it's a level 4, it'd probably offset the price of gas to get over there if I bought a bunch of stuff at the same time. I'm interested, considering the rediculous amount we've spent at Advance already this year.
