It's the internet; knowing one's attitude is often difficult. "Your opinion doesn't count" is a rather harsh thing to say when unprovoked so obviously I took offense. Now, if you had said "Your opinion is as valuable as your Mom's," I would have known you were playing around.

that does not infer my opinion matters less than that of anyone else. it infers that if someone wants a particular bike, anyone saying that it is ugly would not matter in the least.
