I really want one. - Hunter - 02-13-2007 damn rex... you're tiger fast. - CaptainHenreh - 02-13-2007 Hunter Wrote:damn rex... you're tiger fast. Rar! edit: I want an E28 M5. FUUUUUUCK V8's.
Re: E39 M5... - Apoc - 02-13-2007 .RJ Wrote:Apoc Wrote:Just sell everything and buy a V8... you know you want to. Service vehicles automatically get 2 cylinders deducted from their count. - .RJ - 02-13-2007 Fack your rules! Motorcycles that never get ridden automatically get 2 cylinders deducted too... that leaves you with... well, a bicycle
- Apoc - 02-13-2007 Vehicles that don't run count as negative so your total comes to 10. I've got 10 and 2 turbos... I win! - .RJ - 02-13-2007 The 400 runs... for reals this time. I got it running today ![]() Ross's bike is in my garage, and that also runs. I got all sorts of stuff that runs! I dont think I've ever had this many running vehicles at my disposal before. - Beej - 02-13-2007 Oh man, I fucking love these things. Looked at one when I was looking at STi's, but halfway decent ones were a bit out of my price range. Maybe when I get sick of the e30. - BLINGMW - 02-14-2007 CaptainHenreh Wrote:edit: I want an E28 M5. FUUUUUUCK V8's. now you're talkin! 8) - Feersty - 02-14-2007 E39 M5 is definitely a car that I wouldn't mind having. - REED - 02-14-2007 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/ ... 53732.html mileage is high, but i love that color does anyone else remember the E34 5 series at JMU, darkish blue. I dont know if it was an M5 or not but it looked delicious - CaptainHenreh - 02-14-2007 That's a pretty good price. I just really don't like the recirc-ball steering on the V8 cars. I mean, it's a BMW so I'm sure it's fine (And MB used RB steering for ages) it's just technology elitism. Like hating on the vette for having pushrods, I guess. - Jeff - 02-14-2007 The sound it makes reminds me of our 454 trash truck...just add in a little backfiring. So I will say "I like it, but it needs more backfire!" - ButtDyno - 02-25-2007 I think I could "settle" for an E39 540i ![]() For DD purposes, the extra 110 hp wouldn't be all that necessary. - ultimagtrlover - 02-28-2007 I wasn't too impressed with the E39 M5 when Tyler and I took one out for a spin. Dad's CTS-V feels stronger. Of course the quality of the M5 is much higher, but the milege is much higher as well, meaning more wear and tear at that price. If you are looking for a luxury mid-sized sedan with V-8 power, I suggest looking at a used CTS-V. Less milege, same price. |
