This place is pretty legit. I am waiting on the owner to call me back. He's definately a deal-maker kind of guy. Told me they would give me a ride to/from the airport - so I guess if I get it, I'll just fly up. I dont think he'd let me test a ferrari while i was there, but he might let me sit in it anyway, haha.

thats the only hangup I have right now too - thats why its not a done deal yet. The owner of the dealership is going to go look at it for me, and take more pictures. He told me if I come up there and see it in person and it looks shitty - no obligation to buy or anything
edit: it has a clean carfax, and he said he had no knowledge of it being repaired - so thats why he's going to go check it out

It's not an auction, it's a buy-it-now. I have the current highest offer on it - and have been in contact with the dealer - we're in agreement on price. I am just waiting to see waht the verdict is about the paint there. Then I just have to make the plunge. I would love to get my subaru sold, but I'm not sure if they'll hold it til I can get that taken care of.

Well, even if it is...the search continues. I've pretty much determined I'm going to get one of these for less than 28k...good deals pop up every once in a while, and I'm in no real hurry.

Well, they checked it out and such, and apparently it is factory orange peel. I told them I was going to pass on it unless they came down significantly more. I had a good deal going, significantly less than the ebay auctions buy it now price, so feel free to go haggle with them if you're feeling spendy on an iffy car!
