yes, but he was just stating that it is a common problem in the 3's - the third gear syncro goes bad. just as in the RSX's - same problem.

So "limited run niche AWD" vehicles isn't a problem: The platform supports it. If you want a turbo, all wheel drive Mazda 3, you can buy an S40/V40 T4 AWD. It'll have a 5 pot instead of the DISI 4 cyl, but who's counting?
