I'm reserving judgement to see how it went for later. - Feersty - 01-23-2007 ScottyB Wrote:Feersty Wrote:Be prepared to wait patiently for your review. hahaha yeah. I got laid off anyways so I didn't get to my review. :? - Ginger - 01-25-2007 Ok, here's a recap. I thought I went through the worst interview of my life. I used all the tips I had gained from you guys, and some Monster style articles like Evan suggested. Instead I felt like the interview process was stacked against me at this company. However, I received an offer today that met with my requirements. So I guess it went OK. I also had an interview the next day with a different company which I approached in almost the same fashion... however I didn't "care" about this company as much and was able to approach the situation with a little more care free attitude. THAT interview went wonderfully. I've been given a good idea that that job will produce an offer to. Thanks for the tips! I'm really torn on what to do right now which is causing a lot of anxiety... but in the grand scheme of things, the problems I'm facing are, well, really good. Thanks! - Apoc - 01-25-2007 Some of the best interviews I thought I had ended up with no offer. Time to pit the companies against one another for maximum salary! - Ginger - 02-09-2007 Ok, looks like everything is in order so I feel comfortable posting this now. I had two interviews which both resulted in offers. The one I thought went terribly apparently went well enough to make the company happy enough to make me an offer. And the offer was right where I was hoping to sit all along, so it made me happy, too. I took it since it was right at the top of my list all along and I'll be starting this coming Monday. I'll be with Navy Federal CU as an Account Reconciliation Technician at their Vienna office. I don't think I'm as excited as maybe I would expect to be, but whatever, it's good. Oh, and thanks to RJ, JayRay, and Rex (I hope I didn't forget anyone?) for taking the time to go over my resume and make suggestions. Much apprecited. - Apoc - 02-09-2007 You're still a bitchface for bailing on karting. - HAULN-SS - 02-09-2007 sounds like a drinking good time is in order - Ginger - 02-09-2007 There will be a good drinking time, time and place to be announced
