Jack's wasnt supercharged, just a pile of junk.

yeah as I remember you are correct. It had almost ever bolt on in the book though and ran uber shitty.
The motor ran fine... just the rest of it was shit.

I hope it doesn't end up in the Giant Integra Chop Shop in the sky Sad

What exactly are you referring to? How big is theft around here?

i've seen a yellow R up on blocks in pheasant hills a few years back. in '05 there was a bunch of wheel thefts in the area, mostly hondas.

honestly the majority of problems is just vandals. kids walking through the area, drunk after a party, being dicks. i would just play it smart and not park your car where it could easily be messed with.

- Maengelito - 09-15-2006

my black integra was egged in forest hills, i had my emblems jacked, and i parked next to the car-b-que during the riots in forest hills several years ago. my car didnt sustain any damage, but i just had to wash the soot off of it the next day. i know jayray had some wheels jacked and someone else had their civic's wheels jacked i believe. no matter where you are, integras seem to be the hot item to fuck with. comes with owning the car

Jay made some enemies in another life or something, they way his cars get picked on.

i recall when the wheel thefts were going down, we had Jay park super-tight in between me and my roomate Ryan. if they were gonna get my boy's wheels we were at least gonna make them work for it.

for the record my accord never got picked on. they were just too good for it

General issues with nice Integras getting stolen. Nothing particular to JMU.

no joke:
1999 Civic Si - Broken into - Springfield, VA
1999 Civic Si - Actually stolen - Springfield, VA
1999 Civic Si - Wheels stolen - Alexandria, VA
1998 Integra RS - Attempted theft - Alexandria, VA
*moved out of my mom's place at this point*
1998 Integra RS - Broken Into - Newark, DE (for work!!)
1998 Integra RS - Broken Into - Arlington, VA

FYI - none of these incidents happened in Harrisonburg, but i did hear about a few incidents in the R2 lot and apartment parking lots. luckily i lived in a 'secluded' part of sunchase where only the brave travel

i remember that - getting out was a bitch and a half

to the original poster. i'm sure you're aware of how tempting your car may be. i hope for the best with you and your car as i've suffered alot and my insurance company hates me so they charge me out the ass for my coverage :x .

again, your car looks good

- beseman - 09-15-2006

Yea im particularly worried because I only have Liability coverage. SO if anyone did anything to it, it would come straight out of my pocket. So the way I figure it, its like someone stealing money right out of my pocket.

But I usually park right outside of my window at night that I always open. The alarm would wake me up pretty easily, I just wanna make sure there arent tons of thefts goin on like there are in PA right now.

What? I've never heard of this, explain Confusedhock:

Oh and beseman, I was the guy that blatantly walked out in traffic, risking life and limb to yell "Madison Motorsports" at you.

block party before my junior year at forrest hills. it was awesome because i didnt get gassed. it was so out of control, but so much fun at the same time. car on fire, couches on fire, people as far as the eye could see. i think we ended up kicking like 4 kegs in the span of 3 hours before the cops came and everyone left forrest hills

- .RJ - 09-15-2006

Riots FTW

- Mike - 09-15-2006

no, i didn't set a dumpster on fire Tongue

- Feersty - 09-15-2006

Blair's sister with a Blue Si is the one who got her wheels jacked in Ashby.

and spoiler on campus overnight when she was a freshmen (to bad the dumb asses broke the shit)

overall i wouldnt stress theft.. then again i dont drive a honda. just keep a close eye out (shady people driving by looking at it etc etc) you should be alright.. worst case park in the back of 1150 with all the VW's.. we keep our cars on LOCK DOWN

- ziich - 09-18-2006

Welcome, I've seen you pass by a couple times. Nice car. I've got liability with theft coverage. I think the extra couple bucks a month is worth it.

Hey Jay, what's the story behind the keymarks on the passenger side of the Si. (this is Chris btw)
