- .RJ - 06-09-2006 The customer I was on site is housed within the NASA building east of the city, and it was one of the only buildings that did not flood - they had engineers on site during the hurricane pumping water out of the facility during the hurricanes. It was sad to hear most of them talk, just about everyone I talked with lost their house and just about everything else, and were still sorting out the insurance and many of them were not getting what the needed and the houses were a total loss - very unfortunate. Going over a bridge you could see where roofs were cut open looking for survivors, and all of the houses were marked to indicate the houses were searched - too often you'd see "1 dead" painted on the wall There were quite a few trailer parks where people were still living as well.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
