How populated are these roads? Lastly, what's the estimated duration of this ride? Thanks, Peter - .RJ - 05-12-2006 Pete - as far as twistys, they're probably not as good as what you're used to 250, but they're pretty nice. The section of Leeds Manor road we're going to ride really kicks ass, lots of elevation change too. Check out the route on google maps (tru, double tru!). Bring a hamilton for breakfast, the omelettes are crazy delicious. They will most likely be completely empty - but the pace will be pretty slow either way. I'm hoping to be back in vienna by noon, so < 4 hrs. - Dragon - 05-12-2006 .RJ Wrote:They will most likely be completely empty - but the pace will be pretty slow either way.Yeah fucking newbs keeping the pace down. . . . . . . oh wait I'm the newb. - Ginger - 05-12-2006 Dragon Wrote:.RJ Wrote:They will most likely be completely empty - but the pace will be pretty slow either way.Yeah fucking newbs keeping the pace down. . . . . . . oh wait I'm the newb. You'd keep the pace down, anyways

It's all good, need people like me and Chris to balance out the lack of self restraint in others. - Apoc - 05-12-2006 ....otherwise people decide to do stupid shit like throw their bike into SUVs. - .RJ - 05-12-2006 Burn. - Ginger - 05-12-2006 Apoc Wrote:....otherwise people decide to do stupid shit like throw their bike into SUVs. We like to throw fairings at other riders, too

Had it not been for my cat-like reflexes I would been a goner. - .RJ - 05-12-2006 Whatever, quit whining - Apoc - 05-12-2006 Sorry... I didn't realize it was unreasonable to expect pieces of others' bikes not fly at your head during rides. I knew there was a reason I always ran point... - Feersty - 05-12-2006 Ride safe guys...Andrew what kinda bike did you get? - .RJ - 05-12-2006 So...... Any one look at the routes? - .RJ - 05-12-2006 Whichever way we decided to go, it would help if you wrote the route down on a post it or small piece of paper - I have painters tape in the garage if you need it to put on your tank. I'm not writing out directions for all of you donkeys
- Apoc - 05-12-2006 If you decide to deviate the 6 miles to swing by my place call me in the morning. |
