think of the worst (in my opinion worse than bestiality and scat porn) and that is it. the porn people seem to get a kick out of sending us samples that they know we really don't want to watch.

Get a real job that you need to support yourself and a family and that attitude will change. I can surf the web at work but there's a HUGE nono at looking at certain things.

What is a real job? Get paid? Save lives? Enjoy doing it? Plan to be there for ever? Public service?

I am not sure what you mean by real. I work a reg nine to five in an office building. Is that real?

I do support myself. I do not have children and I am unmarried. No one depends on me to bring a paycheck home every two weeks. If I lost my job I and certain I could support myself for many months or until I was able to find another "real" job.

You are trusting complete strangers (there are a few on here) with your family's financial stability? What if some dick puts an unlabled porn picture on here? You are screwed.

My point: I can afford the to risk questionable posts on here. It seems some can't or some are overly sensitive about it. I question why they are here.

There is a time and place for everything. MM forum is not a place for unlabled porn. Everything is risk/reward. I run a risk everyting I enter a query in google. There are things that can be done to reduce those risk. So, if kicking off a bunch of spineless 'dicks' off MM forum is what needs to be done to reduce risk then it will probably be done. Now, for once robs questions was valid, he saw a link to a video hosted on youtub.com and assumed what everone does when a link from youtub is posted, it's porn. I've not looked at it and won't until I get home thereby reducing risk. I trust the users of this forum to respect the rules, and they do. Only lately have I begun to question the maturity level of this place with post such as yours and what went on the Motorcycle forum last week. I don't like the way this is headed and I hope the new leadership of MM does something about it.

What in my post caused you to question my maturity?

I am not attacking Rob. I think his question was valid. My point has little to do with him. I am raising a topic for general discussion. I find it ironic that people will bitch and moan about work safe content when in fact they are in complete control of what sites they visit and what images come up on their screen.

:?: Don't do much research via internet search engines do you?

- G.Irish - 04-20-2006

I think what he meant was that you wouldn't have to worry about SFW/NSFW if you weren't browsing forums. Which is true.

Chad I know your point is that you have a reasonable expectation of not running into porn here (or at least if you did, that it be labeled properly). This is also true.

While I enjoy a good argument every now and then I don't think there's really anything to argue on this one.

- JackoliciousLegs - 04-20-2006

ANYWAYS... I saw the car wash on Fifth Gear earlier. I want to know how to do all that on a budget. What a writeup that would make. What tools/solutions you use etc...

sure. but one will get you fired and the other wont (within reason). Thats the difference

thats hilarious.

to interject some motorsports content, the guy that started milfhunter has an AMA superbike team. A buddy of mine took a pic with him at the VIR race last year. I said "Who the fuck is that?" He acted like it was his hero or something

No, I don't have to do much research on the internet. When I do look things up on the internet via search engines, it is most likely for a specific reference from a specific page. I have never seen porn or an sort of questionable material on microsoft.com or java.com.

You have yet to answer any of my questions. Should I take that to mean you don't have an answer?

What team is that? I remember seeing his bike at VIR but didn't know who it belonged to.

With regard to that carwash, that's fucking rediculous. Though I appreciate his craftsmanship, there's people out in the world that will never make that 9,000 dollars in their entire lives.

well they better get to washing cars then!

- Feersty - 04-20-2006

You wrong for that, Chan.

I guess I should stop using windex...

go check out autopia.com. They have everything you could imagine in terms of detailing to get started. They may not have all the things available, but the forums can give you ideas of where to go from there. I recommend, not to mention they have a bunch of tutorials on the process of making your car blingeriffic.

- .RJ - 04-21-2006

Heh, dave's on the right path.

I've got a bunch of stuff I use for my cars - none of it terribly expensive but it can add up. But a little $$ on supplies and a buffer and you can do a professional detail job on your own time Smile

- Andy - 04-21-2006

I hope to own a car worth detailing sometime soon.
