- Chris - 04-19-2006 E30 hatch! now that would fit a serious roll cage! - Feersty - 04-20-2006 Chan, did you see the Eiffel Tower? - JohnC - 04-20-2006 Feersty Wrote:Chan, did you see the Eiffel Tower? I don't think he did. In all the pictures of the Eiffel Tower that also include Chan, he's facing the camera with the tower in the background... Can't believe he missed that... - Mike - 04-20-2006 JohnC Wrote:Feersty Wrote:Chan, did you see the Eiffel Tower? hahahaha chan, you're such an idiot! - BLINGMW - 04-20-2006 haha you guys kill me  yeah Rob, we did see it, in fact our hotel was just a few blocks away. We didn't go up IN it though, the lines were long and we didn't think we'd be missing that much anyway. But everything was within walking distance (well, a few miles) and we didn't feel like figuring out the subway because it was confusing enough in London, and there we didn't have a language barrier! The Louvre was probably our best hit there, after that there's really no reason to go to ANY other classical art or history museum. We spent 5 hours there and saw MAYBE half of it. Overwhelming! hock:The other cool thing (to me at least) was the little dealerships that are IN the city. And ones like Toyota, Renault, have F1 cars and displays all set up, some also had some neat concept cars and such to get attention. The Toyota setup was the best, they had a kickass simulator: ![]() Unfortunatly I didn't figure out for a little while that my arms would actually fit in there and I looked like a tool. Or at best, a Canadian bastard. They also had a neat peripheral vision trainer thing that looked like fun. - Feersty - 04-20-2006 Yeah the Louvre was tight. Definitely got to go two different days. We went on the first Sunday of the month and got in free.... Egyptian exhibit was especially amazing. Venus de Milo  Walking from the train station to the Eiffel Tower sucked, and then from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre....Oh God. There was some dope graf on the way though . |
