GUESS WHAT!!! THEY CAME BACK!!! THOSE BASTARDS!!!! Lol, this time the joke was on them though. They found no keys...and no money...lol. You could tell they got pissed because they just started breakin shit. Nothing of value was stolen. They tore open a Digi cam box...lol...but I had the camera here at home. The only thing that sucked was they came in the door behind the oil drums, which is right where I store my Daytona parts. They jumped on my brand new storage tote and broke it. They pushed my engine out of the way and knocked a bunch of my stuff over. Assholes... They hit the Chevy dealer down the road again after finding nothing at ours...there too they left empty handed. Our security system is going in next week. A fly won't be able to scratch his ass in the middle of the shop without someone knowing about it.

Sorry to hear the shop got broken into again. Scary thing is that it must've happened not long after we left last night. Confusedhock: Good to know we didn't leave a door unlocked!

Any news on the orange Charger they stole the first time around?

And may I suggest

Word on the street is these guys are part of a gang that is snatching up semi-exotic cars and shipping them out of the country from somewhere in PA. To date they have taken 2 06 Mustang GTs (limited edition green), 1 Dodge Charger (limited edition orange), 1 Chevy SSR, and several other "fancy cars." They say they have hit everything from larger city Honda dealerships to small ones like ours. They seem to be after specific cars and cash. They could have taken several cars which had keys in them...but did not.

- Mike - 02-06-2006

where is eleanor?

- bassmangrammy - 02-06-2006

SSR hahaha...they were probably happy it was stolen...they sold poorly.

- Sijray21 - 02-06-2006

security camera? can that be a possibility?

enough with the Gone In 60 Seconds copy-cats, theivery is untolerable

next thing i can think of is get a bed, spend the nights and have a 12 guage under the pillow or a guard dog! Big Grin Confusedhock:

- Jeff - 02-06-2006

My Great Grandfather had a cot in the back of the old shop (which is now the front shop/wash bay) where he slept with his shotty and his dog. I told them I would sleep on the loft with the AK but Dad said security would be cheaper (I'm not cheap :winkSmile. Dad also commented the other day "Why couldn't they have taken that damn Viper truck." This is along the same vain with the SSR...not a big seller here in rural Virginia. So anyways... Shentel security will be goin in in a week or so. They are planing exterior light, lazer sensors, door trips, and large range motion sensors.

about?

- HAULN-SS - 02-06-2006

heh, the security system...but now the joke's not as good cause it had to be explained

- Jeff - 02-06-2006

O I C. I am thinking it will be hard to get around. At least for the type of people we are dealing with here. Their MO seems to be they will hit three times... but for most places the third time results in an alarm and they run. They have been scared off in third attempts twice say the police...the next time they will likely try a window. All the windows are getting bolt locks for the winter and the ones that are never open are getting welded shut. The door they came in this time is also getting welded shut. All the front windows were welded shut after a robbery in the 80's lost us a turbo Lancer. It was recovered when the crooks ran out of gas on 81.

- Jeff - 03-01-2006

So I got the call this morning that for the first time so far the new Ford dealership up the road got hit by these clowns. They have an alarm, so the cops arrived and actually scared them away. The know this because they found their running tracks off into the woods and the cash box laying un-opened on the ground near the tree line. Our alarm is up and operational, it sucks because it auto-arms at a certain time that is much earlier then I would like. Also, I was told that we had a tail-gate stolen off a new pick-up. People suck.

- ScottyB - 03-01-2006

geez man. i didn't know H-burg was such a hot spot for this kind of theft.

- Jeff - 03-01-2006

even worse...I'm talking about Woodstock
